The Salmon bowl is AMAZING! Lynchburg Lemonade double is very refreshing!
Always come here when I visit ATL!
Great location with reasonable drink prices and good food!
We’ve been here before. The service (Lee) is nice. They have a chocolate desert that is a chocolate lover’s fantasy.
There are plenty of dogs, so don’t bring a person that is afraid of dogs. Some pets owners give their dogs a longer leash.
Our large group had a blast at Park Tavern. Lee was a great server. We will definitely return again.
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. There was somewhat of a delay with our entrees. The appetizers were quick to come out.
It was Father’s Day and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good for my daughter with her Gi issues. The menu offered some gluten free options with 100% all natural chicken. I had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. There was only one problem, I ordered the cake without the raspberry syrup. And it came out with lots of raspberry syrup. I complained and the waitress took it back, only to be redelivered .... in a different plate. The chef laterally just scoop it up and put it on another plate. So needless to say, raspberry syrup was still underneath the cake.
The Father’s Day brunch was less than impressive. My food was cold and the selection of food was very minimal. Everything advertised wasn’t available. The lines to get food was very long and the buffet was not getting refreshed quick enough to handle the people who were there, we had to also wait for plates. The price paid didn’t reflect the amount of food available.
Awesome groups of people. Love it
The food, drink, setting, people, and value are exceptional. We’re already planning our next visit.
My husband and I stopped here for a light dinner and cocktails before a concert. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The restaurant was pretty full, and everyone was in good spirits. Our food was good and our waitress was nice. We will be back in the future.
It wasn't a good experience for me and my family. It was extremely loud, the wasn't good.
This place is impeccable in absolutely everything. The food is absolutely fantastic. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to any and all needs. We reserved seating here for my husband’s birthday and we expected nothing but the best from this place. Park Tavern is the place to be. Coming back for Fathers Day!
Awesome time celebrating my daughter’s graduation. We will be back!
The staff was very friendly, but clearly overworked. The food was mediocre, at best. In all fairness, I had a patron to praise their service the previous day. They could have been having an off night.
Great place, good food, and cool environment
I love the ambiance of Park Tavern. Food was delicious and service was amazing as well. I also used a groupon voucher and the experience was still great where some places wouldn’t provide the level of service using a voucher.
We ate here before a high school state playoff game. I would drive all the way back just for the truffled tater tots with gruyere fondue! They were incredible. Great sushi and a great cocktail with muddled strawberries.
Beautiful place to watch an Atl sunset! Food was great and in a relaxed ambience. Doggies welcome on patio... all had a great time!
We ended up a party of 18. This is a great place for large groups. The food was good and the server handled such a large group with ease
Nice location on the park with a nice view for sunset and not too noisy or expensive. Would visit there again for dinner and drinks.
We always have a great time at Park Tavern! The staff was fast, friendly, and very considerate with our large party. We'll be back time and again.
Great place to chill after going to the dog park or walking your dog around Piedmont Park. Recommend you make a reservation, even it’s just you and your dog. Very busy and popular place.
It was a very nice night and the restaurant was conveniently located for all that were attending. The food was ok but that's about it. We had to ask other wait staff to get our waiter to come over every time we needed something, it was busy when we were there but not so busy that it should have been every time something was needed (which incidentally was three times. First, after 15 minutes of no one showing up to place a drink order. Second, after 30 minutes of no one coming around to get refills and finally after another 30 minutes MIA to get our check).
Great service! We were seated immediately upon arrival
First time to Park Tavern for Easter. Fun! We've been to other Atlanta restaurants for Easter...some just OK, some overpriced, some stuffy. This was active, engaging with good and diversified food. Our question is always...would we go back? Answer, definitely. Park Tavern staff was attentive, was engaging, but not intrusive, food as stated great and the price was right for an Easter event.
This was one of the best buffets EVER! So smart to have multiple stations to eliminate lines. Servers were constantly cleaning and replenishing. They were so polite. Every bite of food was incredible. Something for everyone! We already made plans to attend next Easter!
Was such a great experience for my birthday dinner. I made a reservation online the same day, and they had the table ready for us as people came in at different times. The environment was really cool and the food specials were amazing. Will definitely be back!
Love the tavern,
The service was abysmal
Food was good but service was rough. We waited 40 minutes for our food to come and my order was messed up, so I had to wait another 30 minutes to get the food I actually ordered. It was a crazy day and I know our waiter was running around from table to table. I don’t blame him, but I do think it was odd that the kitchen took so long to fix the mistake with the food. Other than that, watching all of the dogs around us was a blast, the food tasted good at least, and the drinks were great too. Just beware on crazy nice days with all of the park foot traffic, service probably won’t be up to par.
I've been trying to get here for years. I'm a member at the Botanical Gardens, but timing just hasn't been good. Really enjoyed it. Casual Dining at its finest!
Great location for a surprise birthday dinner. The menu selection has a wide variety for all guest.
Our service was incredibly slow and our food wasn’t hot when brought out. I think we got our food over an hour after putting in our order.
Appreciated the ability to book a party over 12 on the app. When I did call to confirm and add additional guests (10 more!), Chris was very accommodating and friendly. He ensured I knew that the event at Piedmont Park we were there to see was cancelled due to inclement weather. He also asked for preferred table arrangement and noted that we were free to adjust upon arrival. Though the ambience isn’t exactly my fave compared to other Atlanta restaurants, I’ll continue to recommend to others for the location, the view and the ease of scheduling large groups.
If you love dogs it is wonderful! Like a puppy heaven. Even with the plastic tenting, it stays very warm. Nice place to watch the sunset but also any sporting event. Good food too!
Loved it and everyone in the party did too! Great prices great service. Love this venue and so close to the park!
Great great great
This is the first time we had eaten at Park Tavern. We always meant to try it, but just hadn't gotten around to it. When I saw the Groupon for Park Tavern, I didn't waste any more time...
My husband and I were pleased with the atmosphere downstairs on a Sunday evening. Out table was next to the fire pit, so it was especially cozy. Our waiter was experienced and knew what to recommend for us to try on the menu. We loved the stir fry with Thai fresh vegetables and salmon. My husband had the class double cheeseburger; it was OUTSTANDING. The meat is ground daily on the premises and you can certainly taste the difference.
Patrons were dressed comfortably and casually. Some customers brought their well-behaved dogs.
The only negative was that the TVs were turned up a little too high, as far as the volume was concerned. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he quickly made an adjustment.
We look forward to returning to Park Tavern on a Sunday evening in the near future. Well-done!
