Met a business colleague for lunch. We were the only diners in the restaurant ao it was much more quiet than usual. Service was excellent and so was the food. It is oyster season so it was nice to enjoy some very fresh fish and oysters.

Our go-to place for a special meal, easily the best restaurant in the Reston area, and up there with all the other great restaurants in Northern Virginia. We started with a dozen very fresh and tasty oysters. Then the Thai lobster pot was superb (and has been every time I've had it) and the scallops were perfectly done and tasty. We sat outside so it was quiet (except for the cars). The wait staff and mgt. treat guests like royalty, and it definitely pays to be a member of their loyalty club. We used points and this meal was basically free (after having eaten there for many years).

Excellent birthday evening for our daughter. Service was impeccable and they mentioned the birthday as soon as we were seated which made her feel very special. Food was excellent. Sushi and Cervice were amazing. The big daddy appetizer was excellent and perfect for the 4 of us to share. Outdoor dining was nice, though a little busy right on the street, but not bad. Great evening had by all. Will definitely return again.

Great. We wish was that there had been a little bit larger serving of rice with the Thai Red Curry Lobster. Dressing on Cesar Salad was also not very good, but that may be a personal preference. We like a creamier dressing

Wonderful fresh seafood, service, and careful Covid safety measures. We regular weekly dinner at Passion Fish Reston and after 12 years of dining we have never had a bad meal or service. Passion Fish chef’s are top drawer and consistently prepare superb fresh seafood and sides. The managers, hosts, servers, and bar tenders are uber professional and friendly. We appreciate Passion Food Groups owners efforts during these trying times. Ad long-time customers we are always in for a great fresh seafood meal and superb service. Passion Fish Reston or Bethesda - both equally excellent.

We enjoyed blackened Halibut and the amazing Halibut special served over a deep fried rice cake lady evening. A great bottle of Fable Chardonnay was also enjoyed. Cheers.

The menu has not changed significantly in years, so you rely on the chef and specials for variety. That said, the quality of the food is high and the service is wonderful. We ate on the patio, which was nice.

Thank you for your honest and genuine feedback. Each season the team here at PassionFish sit down and decide which selections to replace and which items to leave in. The reason we still have selections you remember from a previous years is because of the demand for them and the backlash from removing them. Other items change out simply because they are seasonal (softshells, halibut, heirloom tomatoes, etc.). We offer specials as way to break of monotony as well as test out new dishes.

I reserved the earliest possible time available (9:15), however; once we were seated the waitress immediately informed us they close at 10pm. She repeatedly looked at her watch after each order...cocktails...appetizer....entree, etc.

We love Passion Fish. Only nit for this dinner was our waiter. He did a great job but we had trouble understanding him through his mask. Recommend you issue masks that address that.

Had hoped to enjoy the Restaurant Week lunch but learned, upon arrival, that they don’t honor the lunch special on Sundays (nothing noted on website.) So we shifted to their brunch menu: the Eggs Chesapeake were delicious and Huevos Rancheros special was good. The “Maine” BLT omelette was generous with the lobster but a little dry; I wished I had asked for Hollandaise. Our server was delightful and it was very pleasant sitting at an outdoor table.

Outstanding service, even before arrival. Went for my 2yr wedding anniversary, has gift delivered to the restaurant, the manager called me to confirm it had arrived, waiter Ahmad was very attentive, by the way its a BYOB restaurant. Went during restaurant week. the menu was the same as the regular dinner menu. Ordered the grilled whole Branzino cook to perfection, my wife ordered the crab cakes, which she said was excellent as well. Will definitely return. Can't express how satisfied we were with the service and food.

One of our favorite restaurants. We visited for Restaurant Week and you could order off the regular menu, with a few exceptions. They were very accommodating for my wife's gluten free allergy, and my bell pepper allergy. Food and service was excellent as always. This can be a very noisy restaurant, but with the social distancing seating, it was quiet enough to hold a normal level conversation. We will return.

Really enjoyed our overall experience at PassionFish. Haven't been in awhile and food/service was a good as it's ever been. Prices are still a little high compared to other similar restaurants which makes visiting there reserved for special occasions on our part. However, it does offer a unique setting and a nice selection of fresh fish. Also sushi and raw bar are excellent.

Was excited to try eating at Passion Fish. Very pleased that Covid precautions were in place. Staff was attentive w/o being cloying.
Had the spicy tuna roll which was good and the crab & shrimp spring rolls which were very disappointing. They were basically just filled with noodles. We didnt even finish one.
Then we had the low country shrim otherwise it was good.
Where Passion Fish shined were the desserts. The key lime tart was accompanied by a scoop of coconut sorbet and the tart (which was more of a mousse filling) was topped with beautifully toasted meringue.

It was unfortunate that we had to wait 40 minutes after our Opentable reservation of 6:30pm to get seated. It was even more disappointing that no one asked us for a drink or an appetizer whiles we waited. Finally, I has to ask the hostess if someone could get us a drink while we waited. Surprisingly, they charged us for it.

We went here during Restaurant Week and very glad we ventured out to have lunch (on their outside seating) at this restaurant under the COVID19 situation. They followed required county health protocols. Staff and manager were all wearing mask and gloves. The 6 ft distance between tables is in place. Shawn, the manager, was very accomodating and patient with our request. Our server Oscar was nice and he brought all our request. Food was great, we had the lobster gazpacho and corn & crab chowder for appetizers. They had complimentary warm biscuits and spread. For entrees, we had crispy Asian Seabass with chimichuri green sauce and creamed lemon butter sauce on side with sides of bucket of hot French fries and crunchy sugar snap peas. Really good and tasty. The desserts were spot on, chocolate fudge bombe and key lime pie with sorbet and sprinkled with toasted coconuts. Great lunch!

We went for restaurant week (which was our first time at this restaurant) and were very pleased with the COVID measurements being taken - we sat outside and everything felt very clean and well organized. Our service started off quick but got a lot slower as our meal wore on. The food was pretty good - the sushi was excellent, but perhaps I just didn't order great - my food was good, but wouldn't say it was great. We'll definitely go back again though and keep trying more of the menu.

Aron our server was super pleasant and did a great job! We were super lucky and happened to reserve a seat during restaurant week. We all got the 3-course menu. I just think the crab and corn chowder is the best chowder in the universe still even during Covid! I first had it at a Christmas party two years ago and twice since so yummy! The sushi rolls were fantastic also. The only reason for the 4-star review is my daughter's Halibut was really bland but cooked well and hot. My crab cakes were warm at best. Everything else was good.
