                                                                                      Although our meal was fine tonight, unfortunately this restaurant food is so inconsistent. We had made a reservation for a high-top. But, when we arrived the high-tops were taken. Obviously, no one checked the reservations list which would have had the staff place a "reserved" card on a high-top. We chose to eat at the bar. Service was fine. The food was like we requested. So, overall the neutral score.

                                                                                      I've ordered Caesar Salad with grilled chicken on a number of occasions here, but this was very bad. First, I sent the salad back as the grilled chicken had not been cooked sufficiently. The grilled chicken was not done much better the second time and instead of Caesar dressing the dressing was blue cheese. Not a n enjoyable evening. Ambience was ok but lowering the dining room lighting would enhance the ambience somewhat. And finally, why are there few fish options on the menu?

                                                                                      Had a great waitress tonight. Her boss was great. The meal was terrific. It was hamburger night and the meat was done just right and the price together with a drink and sides was a great value. We have enough for a second meal!!

                                                                                      I have tried to like this restaurant, it is in a great neighborhood with few good dining options but this was an overpriced meal that was just not good. The cream of crab was served lukewarm with a strong celery and spice flavor and very little crab meat. The crab balls were filler, spice and minimal crabmeat. The rib eye was dry and well done instead of medium, even at medium it was thin and not very flavorful. The harvest salad was great, as well as the salmon, but overall disappointing. It also took just under an hour to get our meal with few others there dining at the time. There is such a need for a great restaurant in this area, but they missed the mark in my opinion.

                                                                                      My husband and I went last night to Passwater’s and had the two specials. The Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and the steak stirfry. Both were  delicious and the portions were amazing.
