Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria
It’s a beautiful space with a nice view of a golf course and maybe horse racing track (couldn’t be sure because nothing was happening on it at the time I went), which I found to be a nice break from the usual tall buildings.
The service was quiet and proper and efficient.
The tea set itself was lovely and lovingly set up. I dined alone and found the set to be way too much / especially with the sweets. I felt wasteful, but just HAD to sample everything! And everything was delicious! I particularly liked the miniature Waldorf salad!
It was a lovely tea afternoon. But I do wish that they had had live music / perhaps a pianist.
Very friendly and professional staff in attending us. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good too. The lounge has a relaxing vibe with a nice view.
What a beautiful restaurant! Yummy food, good view with excellent service! Nice choice for afternoon tea!
We always visit this place on new year day. Peacock is one of the best afternoon tea places in Bangkok you can enjoy your memorable moment.
Great service. Beautiful afternoon tea service with lots of tasty food. Best Afternoon Tea in Bangkok.
High tea good for Instagram photos; however the taste was not up to the expected standard from Waldorf Astoria. The savory items consisted of items that was pre-made well in advance. At least that’s how it tasted. No wow effect here. View from the window was horizontally pleasant, but looking down, just ugly construction site.
The service, food and dining place especially corner window seat are good. Good value of money comparing to afternoon tea in Rosewood Bangkok.
A fly was found on top of a cake. Very bad experience. Hygiene is bad. It should not happen in 5 star hotel😷😷
My friend and I had afternoon tea. The view from our table was great as my request. Of course savories and cakes were tasty. We totally enjoyed our tea time. If I must say something, some kids were a bit loud.
It was a very pleasant and peaceful afternoon. Service was flawless. I'd love to visit there again.
-beautiful and fancy petit four - good taste of sweets - good seating arrangement - nice staff
Very nice view, helpful and good service, delicious and awesome canapé.
Overall, we had a good afternoon tea experience at Peacock Alley. The service was remarkable. All the staffs were very attentive and polite. However, we can't say the same for the food and sweets. Our teas were good as well.
We had a lovely afternoon. The chef was amazing and was able to accommodate all our dietary requirements. He came out to explain our afternoon tea and how he had catered for each of us. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. We will be back.
Totally worth its value, desserts were tasty and great view.
Afternoon tea is great value for money, the food is delicious and there is amazing attention to detail. The chef catered for my food allergies by making different foods for me. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing. There is no rush to complete tea and it is a very relaxing afternoon experience.
Service employees are kind, friendly and helpful. Introduction of menu and how to order are explained well and in detail. Tea and coffee are nice. Cakes, cookies, tapas are specially designed individually, surprising your tongue definitely. This place is good for relaxing with your couple, friends and family.
It would be much better to choose two or more tea flavor or coffee per person. We wanted to taste our drinks more.
Afternoon tea was awesome , service excellent. I must recommend my friend to go.
The afternoon tea set is so impressed
The reserved table is absolutely amazing.
