We always have a wonderful experience at Pecan Square, and this time was no different! Excellent service provided by our waiter Ian; divine food with high-quality ingredients (get the potato pizza if you see it on the menu!); lovely wine curation and recommendation from som Quentin. We can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re looking for an incredible dining experience out.

I love this restaurant, so it pains me to say that last night was an exception. Service was slow and, at times, nonexistent; so much so that I had to complain about plates piling up and wine not brought to the table in a timely fashion. The schnitzel was overcooked and dry, so our guest returned it. My burger was undercooked, but we had waited so long by that point that I just ate it. There were a few very noisy tables and that impacted conversation at our table and enjoyment of the experience at this normally chill restaurant. The restaurant was packed and I assume that contributed to the service and kitchen problems we experienced. I will definitely give it another chance, since I’ve had great experiences in the past. I certainly hope last night was an aberration and not a view to the future.

One of our favorite places to eat in Austin! We brought our parents who were in town visiting and our brand new baby for one of our first outings since she was born. It was incredible, the fish and the schnitzel and the peach salad were the highlights! The burger was also a hit as always. Best service, best food, best experience. We already booked our next meal there to celebrate my husband's birthday next week!

As always, overall menu choices were great and actually responded to our season. So, really, a seasonal menu. Scallop crudo, salad of mixed greens (large enough for two), 1/2 roast boneless chicken with a very flavorful sauce (chicken was large enough for two) and fries. With a good bottle of Fruiliano. Service was very good. Just wish the noise level was less. But not complaining. Pecan Square has become one of our favorites in Austin.

Exceptional meal - incredibly creative, roasted peach salad was off the charts, followed by a lovely, pan-seared grouper ! Plus a cocomero spritz cocktail and warm fig crostata with ice cream -- Wow!!! Food is consistently delicious and pleasing. Service was excellent!! Can't wait to return!
