Food-wise, it was pretty middle-of-the-road. Nothing was "bad," but it just felt like basic comfort food without any real "wow" factor to make it memorable. That said, the service was excellent—the staff were the best part of the night and really took care of us. I definitely wouldn’t suggest this for a date night, though. It’s so loud inside that you’re basically shouting at each other the whole time. Plus, the portions are massive—one plate could easily feed two or three people—so you end up feeling more weighed down than romantic. It’s a solid enough spot if you’re with a big, loud group and want to split some heavy plates while being well looked after, but if you’re after a quiet, high-quality dinner, I’d probably go somewhere else.

Pepino's is a family style Italian restaurant with great portion sizes, excellent fresh pasta and a deep dish pizza that's worth the price. Service is excellent, family friendly environment, good variety on the menu and a great wine list.

We had a fantastic experience at Pepinos. I highly recommend eating "family style" as you get to try so many things and, oh my goodness, you get so much food! Our waiter was really attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious too. Our faces were the burrata Appy, the lasagna and the ribs but everything was great!
