Shrimp were not fresh as were the bluepoint oysters. Gnats were circling the seafood. Service was very lacking. Desert presentation at tableside was a disaster. Severs were very friendly but young and somewhat inept. This is the first bad review I’ve written for open table.
Sunday night Pork Chop! Awesome deal....
Fabulous Best chip ever!
They weren’t all that crowded, yet seated us at a table that was right in the way of everyone passing by. We asked to be reseated and they just moved us to a similar place so we gave up.
I’m not sure if this is an open table thing or what. I’ve noticed that at several places often times your seat at a half booth instead of a full booth yet if you ask for one then they move you. Maybe a coincidence.
Food was great as always. Service was just very slow. I think the Frisco location is hands down the better of the two locations in the Dallas area.
From walking in to the dinning experience with Kevin the hospitality was top. We did the Sunday special which was a great value.
Great restaurant, food was amazing! Seat right away and great atmosphere. There were time when it became a little loud, but overall great service
My family I came to Perry's for my birthday. The meal was good. My Cowboy Ribeye was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The bacon wrapped scallops we had as an appetizer were merely OK. Frankly, I could have done better. The other dishes were excellent, however, and the bananas foster a show at the end of the meal. I strongly recommend the pork chop, which was excellent and so large my girlfriend could not finish it.
The bread was excellent, but my mother had to request it. I'm not sure if that is customary or an oversight. There were other, minor service mistakes, like giving the wrong dish to one of the guests and being less than attentive. Totally not a problem, but not what you'd expect given the price tag associated with a place like Perry's.
Regardless of (minor) service issues, it was a very good experience. I would recommend Perry's.
Amazing food with remarkable service and atmosphere. I had the spinach salad and crispy skin red snapper. Perfect portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. My husband and friend ordered the NY strip, truffle fries (amazing dipping sauce btw), filet mignon cooked Perry Style, and mashed potatoes. We topped everything off with the dessert trio. DELICIOUS! My husband and I raved about how we actually cleared our plates. Not a drop of food was left. We were satisfied and stuffed! We'll have to try their signature pork chop and bone-in ribeye next time. Great job, and would highly recommend!
Fantastic dinner in a beautiful restaurant. The service was great as it seemed like every manager in that building at some point came by to check on us. They really truelly seem to care about their customers and that customer service definitely did not go unnoticed. Our server, Jose, did a wonderful job! We were definitely very happy overall with our time spent at Perry’s. We will be back!
Great food and service. My second experience and I still had a great time
This place was amazing and I can’t wait to go back for another awesome steak.
It was great
Alexander was simply awesome. He took really good care of us. We had a fun time. We always LOVE celebrating our special occasions at Perry's. Thanks
Perry’s was a phenomenal place to hold my mothers 43rd birthday! From the valet, to the hosts, and to the end of our meal everything was amazing!! I loved Perry’s and anyone else will too!
The hostess and management rep at the entrance were clearly uninterested in having us at the restaurant. Once we were finally seated - even though we had a reservation and it wasn't busy - it still took 25 minutes to get our drinks. Our waiter was very nice and engaging. The Mac and cheese was excellent but everything else was uninspired. The sea bass was cold and flavorless even though it was heavily coated in an electric green seasoning of some sort. Surf and turf pasta barely had any seafood or steak in it. Pork chops were predictably decent. Worst part of the evening was when a dish was sent back because it came drenched in butter and it had been specifically requested to not have any dairy due to an allergy. A member of management walked up to our waiter at our table and loudly demanded to know if it was sent back due to "a preference or an allergy". Even our poor waiter was upset at this behavior. This was just not the experience we expected to have at an upscale restaurant.
Perry's Uptown is always a great experience... the food is awesome drinks always well matched and the service is top notch. We have a wonderful visit everytime we go.
Always great food and great service! It is one of my favorite places to dine!
Pork chop was amazing! Best thing to get on a Friday. Our waiter JR was very attentive and couldn’t have had better experience.
Excellent food and fun
Everything was first class, price slightly higher than excepted
Our waiter was great. He informed us things on our salads just in case we didn’t see it on the menu. Very very helpful. Love that!
We had a very nice evening with great food!
My family and I dined at Perry’s for my birthday dinner. Everything was wonderful! The seafood stuffed mushrooms were delicious! My son said the prime ribeye steak he devoured was the best steak he ever had. My dad loved the king alaskan crab and the red snapper. I had the pork chop and it was fabulous as usual. I’ll go back again and again! It’s pricey but worth every penny!
Wonderful, will be back!
Service was impeccable. Food was delicious and ambience was elegantly intimate.
I scheduled my reservation for a birthday dinner of my three close friends. Perry's Steakhouse was very accommodating of our large party, we had twelve people in attendance total. Everything was perfect from the service, to the ambiance, to our meals. We enjoyed ourselves, and will definitely be back. What a wonderful experience.
The music was a little loud, but everything else was great.
Honestly this is my new favorite restaurant in Dallas. So extremely pleased with our experience.
The food is great. The server we had was awesome, but the overall quality is going down. The ladies at the check in were very unprofessional and rude. Can tell why the lack of business. Glad there’s a new Perry’s in Southlake.
Food was great! The waiter could improve his customer service. My mother asked for more apple sauce, and his demeanor wasn’t pleasant nor was it necessary. Although I did not converse with a manager or the waiter about his actions, it was definitely NOT appreciated.
Happy birthday pork chop.
My experience at Perry’s is normally great. However, this was by far my worst experience yet. My reservations were early at 11:15 and I was sat in some area off the dining room, which looked like a training area. My pork chop came out over cooked, hard and cold. Potatoes were barely room temperature. My waitress appeared to be less experienced than others. It took forever to get water, apple sauce and the check. Then to top it off. The waitress came and threw the extra silverware and used napkins in my dinning companions plate and started to take it away, when advised her that he was not done with his meal. She kindly removed the trash from his plate and apologize. Unacceptable.
Great Customer service from when we entered until we left. This was our first time here. We Truly enjoyed it and will return again.
Kale salad with salmon was excellent!
Katie was our server and she was absolutely awesome! love her!
Good service/atmosphere and not exorbitant prices. I would go back again.
Mother / Daughter date
My husband and I were in town and wanted to experience a really nice evening out. Other than being really loud, we liked the ambiance and overall feel of the place. The service started out great but slowly got worse as the night went on. We would go forever without seeing our server. My husband wasn't asked if he would like another beer and we had to track them down to get something else. Our steaks were under cooked for our taste. When asked if okay, we said it looked a little under cooked, he said "great" and walked away. I really don't think he was paying much attention and seemed very distracted all night. After we paid the bill, we realized an item we ordered was on the ticket but never delivered. We waited and he never came back so we could have it removed from out ticket. We love fine dining and try to experience new places everywhere we go. We were very disappointing and did not enjoy the time out like we hoped (especially for the price you play at a place like this). I would definitely not recommend going here if you are looking for service.
The food was good, but the service was really bad. Our waiter took forever with everything, even with something as small as bringing us straws. He was training someone but that wasn’t the problem. We actually expected better service because he had a trainee. He gave us the food and drinks menus and never came back for like 10-15min, then he brought water and was gone for another 10-15min. One time I asked for a straw for my water and didn’t get it for like 5min. I could see the straws sitting next to a register just across our table, could’ve grabbed them myself. We never received our 2nd round of drinks that we ordered. He never once apologized for the delays or for not bringing us the drinks. We understood that it was a busy night, but the fact that he or his superiors did not acknowledged the inadequacies was a bit frustrating.
The food is wonderful but the service is very slow!!
