The food may be the best food in Louisville. We had the Chef’s Table and everything, including the goat and purple potato stew, were fabulous.

Loved the prefix meal! A lot of delicious food for a great value, and part of the proceeds to charity. Doesn’t get any better than this!! I will be back!!

It was Derby weekend and every table booked. Even so the food was great and loved the ambience.

The service was excellent, but slow. There was only one server for the whole restaurant. The food is exceptional. This is probably my new favorite restaurant. But don’t dine here if you are in a hurry. A great place to sit back relax and have a wonderful meal with friendly, helpful service.

This was our second time at Perso. The first experience was amazing. New, inventive dishes, a menu with creativity. We decided to try again because we were so impressed the first visit. Second visit didn’t impress as much. Reservation was 7:30, which we sat right down. However, we didn’t get first drink until almost 8. The double, was barely a single. We ordered food, and the general impression was that while the menu is creative, it is not focused. We ordered pork belly, which was good, but lacked much in differentiation of flavor. Basically bacon on a stick. We also got the octopus, which was served with cow tongue. Thought that the exotic flavor of these two experiences, was too much for the dish, and each taste overpowered the other. In addition, we got the three way cauliflower. Came out with three variations of cauliflower being served. This was actually very good. Would suggest getting this, and sharing with the table. Overall, the restaurant is good. However, was hoping for this to be a top five restaurant in the city. Cannot say that we had that experience.
