Inspired by the hard work of local producers, Head Chef Jesse Blake’s passion for fresh food has culminated in an assortment of rustic, quirky and fun dishes meant to share, or simply enjoy solo.

Petition Head Chef, Jesse Blake developed his unique and exacting style working in acclaimed restaurants from New Zealand to Melbourne. Given the Petition space to work with, he signed up immediately.

Service staff are very helpful and very useful for information re the menu especially the portion sizes as the menu is listed as light to heavy. Great place to unwind after work in the city or to catch up with friends.

Food was phenomenal. Truly enjoyed each dish we ordered and well worth the price. Only downside was our table of four felt it took too long to get another glass of wine and the server did not come around often enough to check on our drinks. When we finally ordered another glass of wine it took an excessive amount of time to actually receive our drink. Would still highly recommend Petition Kitchen to fellow food lovers.

A group of 8 of us recently had lunch at Petition Kitchen. I was the only one who had been there before. We loved the share type dishes and as usual the quality was top notch. The service was spot on and the atmosphere fantastic. Well done Petition Kitchen.!

Great atmosphere. But boring poached eggs on boring white loaf with a tiny, shrivelled up side of 'slab bacon' (aka chewy fat)...all for almost $20.

This was our third meal at Petition Kitchen in the last year. Food was very good, although at first the menu did not look as tantalising as our previous visits. That said, the roast pork knuckle was superb. Our waiter looked after us very well and made some impeccable and enjoyable recommendations that complemented the didhes wonderfully.
