Pinefish is a Washington Square neighborhood restaurant serving up innovative small plates and good vibrations. The boho-chic interior sets the mood for a unique dining experience that takes you back to the 70’s. Peter Dissin’s exceptional palate and modern vision are the inspiration behind the exceptional wine list, divine sauces and small plate selections at Pinefish.
Every day, including weekends, the Happy Hour at Pinefish is a local favorite for dollar oysters, clams, and steamed shrimp. In addition to the dollar specials, you will love the $4 & $5 small plate offerings paired with $5 wines, $5 martinis, mojitos and craft beers. Happy Hour daily 4:30 - 6:30.
As always, Happy Hour was great, but the Lobster Fest was out of sight!
Like their Happy Hour because they offer a regular martini, gin or vodka, for $5, instead of the ubiquitous HH “special” cocktail, which I usually find too sweet.
Raw oysters are always fresh, and the smoked trout croquettes are fabulous!
All I can say is - !!! Wowwwww.... Wonderful Experience....
We did an early Father’s Day dinner night to beat the rush, it was outstanding. The food was great and the service was awesome.
Neighborhood gem! Intimate space. We were there for Happy Hour which is every single day from 4:30-6:30. We probably ordered too many things, especially since several were fried, but all were really delicious. Tables are very small, and next time I would not order everything at the same time (it just didn't fit on the table). Very easy walk from the
broad Street theaters.
I would absolutely recommend Pinefish. The food was amazing. The customer service was excellent. Leslie was a fabulous server who makes a mean cucumber gimlet! We’ll definitely be back!
Asked for eggs over easy and they were not, apart from that everything was great!
My wife and I celebrated our daughter’s birthday with flavorful food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices, and fine service.
Great place to share small plates. Eclectic decor , great service on a busy Saturday night. Only negative very noisy.
Great happy hour. Very good meal and meal. Friendly staff and bartender.
Our server Isabel was amazing and the food absolutely delicious ! Lobster so fresh and appetizers flavorful ! Drinks were also strong and yummy !
Great service, reasonably priced seafood, which comes very quick, and a quirky fun vibe. Loved it.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves thank you so much for having us! Everything was wonderful.
Had a delicious dinner here on a Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend. Service was great and oysters were fresh and delicious. It was our first visit and it was nice that it wasn’t crowded due to the holiday weekend.
I had the lobster special which came with a first course which I choose the arugula salad. Very good my lobster was grilled so it was tasty.
My husband had the swordfish special which was a huge portion of fish with the large bone still intact! Very dramatic Although pricey at $38. The cauliflower side dish was phenomenal. Don’t know how it was seasoned perhaps balsamic vinegar. My mother in law had the soft shell crabs which she said were delicious.
They also brought out a delicious cup of coffee flavored ice cream since I had mentioned it was my birthday. Very nice of them. I would definitely go back.
The restaurant staff were very accommodating and friendly. The is fairly small but the ambiance is cute. Our waitress was attentive; however, she did mix up a couple of our orders. Happy hour and entree prices were reasonable, but the portion sizes were pretty small. Overall, my family and I had a great time.
Very unique restaurant with great variety of decor. Not your white table cloth for normal business dinner but if looking for something unique and memorable, this is the place. Food was excellent!
Can’t say enough good thing about this place. Excellent food, great service, lovely decor
We were late for our reserved time. We were still seated when we arrived closer to 730 without a problem.
The staff was professional and very courteous. The food was incredible. We had the surf and turf dinner with the arugula salad and the swordfish chop with horseradish mashed potatoes, the oreo cheesecake with coffee, and an italian ice cream, and tiramisu with coffee for dessert. We had a bottle of concannon cabernet. All amazing.
A well-run seafood establishment that has an excellent chopped salad, good lobster, and well-prepared fish.
Very disappointing as Happy Hour at Pinefish
Is one of our favorite places to go. The clams and oysters we destroyed by whoever tried to open them and they ran out of clams. If they are going to serve raw clams and oysters, they need to hire someone who knows how to open them.
Very cool place. The service and food was great. Their brunch options were fantastic. We really enjoyed our mother’s day brunch there!
Delicious food, great price, fun ambiance! Going back very soon!
By far, this was the worst service I’ve ever encountered.
Happy Hour is a quality bargain - good wines and small dishes. Dinner was excellent. Just tried brunch too. The food shows lots of attention to quality and detail.
The food was small portions. The waitress forgot everything. The menus looked like little kids put them together in kindergarten. I do not recommend. There are MUCH better seafood spots in the city.
The Happy Hour at Pinefish is wonderful - it's worth going just for that. Dinner was excellent, service was good. Definitely would recommend.
I started to follow Pinefish on Instagram because a friend of mine followed them. From all the great pictures of the food and atmosphere my parents and I went for Sunday brunch. My mom and I had the lobster eggs benedict with mimosas and my dad had the cinnamon roll pancakes. The food was amazing and our server was really friendly. We will definitely be going back!
Good food but small portions. Over priced. Service was slow but polite. Nice space and not overly loud.
Best eggs Benedict and home fries I have ever had!
I love this place. It has this cute bohemian decor. The service was great, recommending top dishes, etc. We went for brunch. I got the scallop benedict. It was delicious. The coffee was good. The mimosas and bloody marys were good. Everyone loved it. Definitely going back.
Service is a bit slow. Took a while to get our order taken and drinks brought to us.
The food was well prepaired. This service was good. This place is a good value for the money. My wife and i will be back.
Early Sunday Brunch - Friends with Benedicts was a perfect start to my Sunday!
Food was good but I didn’t like the decor
We came at happy hour and were excited to get some drink and appetizer deals. We order 7 small plates and 3 large plates for our party of 6 and had plenty of food. The mood is fun and our server was great. Then one large party of VERY loud diners came in and they triggered another table to raise their volume in competition. It was too much for us and we exited early. But, we really enjoyed it and the food was great.
Celeste was great. Never and empty water or cocktail glass and cleared the empty plates immediately. Nothing sat under a “heat lamp” (if they even have one) Hot dishes were right off the grill or out of the oven. Cold dishes were icy cold. 6 well fed and lubricated people for $400 including a 20% tip. Not just an excellent value for the money, but excellent across the board.
