Pizzeria Lievito-North End Road
We got the confirmation for 10 pax and when we arrived the place was closed for holidays! We had to call taxis and relocate to another pizzeria resulting splitting the group into different tables!
Amateurs! So embarrassing ...
This is a great new addition in a spot that historically has been many different places. The pizzas are of a good size and the dough is especially good. My 9 year old who is a big pizza fan and has tried many places counts this as one of his favorites places. The prices are good and the house wines are very drinkable although the selection is very limited. We will definitely being visiting again soon.
Can't say how good the food is. Try a foccacia for starters, they are clearly doughmasters. The pizza was unreal. I felt guilty for finishing it - I wanted to have my pizza and eat it! Brill friendly service too. Could've had a larger beer selection, but the wine list had plenty of options.
We were keen to try this second branch of the Chelsea eatery. It’s just as good but better as the restaurant is less cramped and airy and the Menu is larger. Importantly the pizzas are as good so now we don’t have to go as far for the lovely experience. Lovely staff too
Lievito arguably makes the best pizza in London. Their special dough is thin and perfectly crusty, and it’s really light. It’s the best kept secret of the local italian community !
