San Giorgio serves Authentic Neapolitan pizza straight from Naples, Italy in a buzzing modern space.

At San Giorgio, our Neapolitan pizza dough is made fresh and naturally fermented in accordance with the strict standards of the authentic Vera Pizza Napolenta. Our pizza is cooked at 900°F in a Stefano Ferrara, wood-fired oven and is finished in 70-90 seconds. This extreme heat creates a pizza with a light and fluffy “cornicione” (crown) and a soft, thin center.

We also serve pasta and local and international beer, wine and spirits.

Exceptional Neapolitan Pizza! Our party had the Americana and the Margherita D.O.C. Pizzas. We also had the Paccheri Genovese pasta. Started with the fried calamari appetizer. Recommend San Giorgio Pizzeria Napoletan for a dinner date, before Bucks game, or Marquette game.

FAQs

Yes, San Giorgio is a popular choice for date night. Guests praise the lively, intimate atmosphere and many recommend sitting at the pizza/oven bar for a front‑row view of pizzas being made, which makes for a fun, romantic experience. It’s casual‑elegant and often busy, so reserve a table and consider an early seating if you prefer a quieter meal. Expect authentic Neapolitan pizza, shareable appetizers, and attentive service for a memorable evening out.

Portions are generally moderate and designed for sharing. Guests describe the pizzas as personal/neapolitan sizes (around 10–12 inches), often fine to split between two people, while salads and appetizers (arancini, eggplant fries) are generous and meant to share. If you’re especially hungry, order an extra starter or pair a salad with a pizza.

Family‑friendly: yes, guests often bring teens, celebrate birthdays, and large youth groups have been accommodated. The team is praised for being patient and flexible with changing reservations. Accessibility-specific details aren’t provided in the available information, so call ahead to confirm wheelchair access or other accommodations.

Go early on a weekday evening for a quieter experience (Tue–Thu right at opening) or arrive before showtime if you’re dining before an event. Fri and Sat nights are busiest and lively, great if you want energy, but expect noise and full capacity. Reservations are strongly recommended to avoid being turned away.

The atmosphere is lively, buzzing, and authentically Italian, many guests say it feels like being in Naples. Expect energetic background chatter, warm service, and the theatrical draw of a wood‑fired oven and pizza prep counter. It’s casual‑elegant and perfect for a fun night out, though it can be loud when full.

Casual dress is appropriate. Guests commonly dine in comfortable, casual attire while enjoying a slightly elevated, modern pizzeria experience.

Yes, the team is frequently noted as accommodating. Guests report the restaurant handles reservation changes and large groups well, and there are positive mentions of gluten‑free pizza options. For seating preferences (oven bar, table) or dietary needs, call ahead to confirm availability and let staff know your request.

Generally, yes, families and multi‑generation groups dine here, and guests have celebrated birthdays with children and teens. The menu and atmosphere are casual enough for families, though the space is small and can get noisy, so an early seating may be better with younger kids.

Busiest: Fri–Sat evenings and nights when there are nearby events (games, shows), guests report a lively, crowded scene. Quietest: early weekday dinners (Tue–Thu at opening) tend to be calmer. If you prefer a low‑key meal, choose midweek and earlier times.

If you want the most relaxed visit, choose a midweek evening (Tue–Thu) when the restaurant is typically less crowded. For a lively, high‑energy night, Fri or Sat is ideal, just book ahead since those nights fill up quickly.

There’s no formal holiday schedule provided, but guests have reported dining there on New Year’s Eve, so the restaurant has been open on at least some holidays. Holiday hours likely vary, call ahead to confirm special hours or availability for a specific date.
