    Service was very slow, but waitress was very nice. I think they are just short staffed like everyplace else. The big negative of the evening was their drink prices are way out of line. I had a Chivas Regal on the rocks which is my normal cocktail. They charged $25 each for a drink that is almost half that price at any other fine dining restaurant. Probably won’t return simply for that reason.

    I brought my mom to Prime Cincinnati for a delayed Mother's Day dinner before the Garth Brooks concert. We each had a ceasar salad, which was absolutely perfectly dressed. The sourdough bread that came to the table with roasted garlic olive oil was superb. Mom ordered the chicken with gnocchi and absolutely loved it. I had the 6oz filet, with truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus. The only concern was the asparagus arrived late to the table. I ordered the filet medium and it was perfect! Super tender and flavorful. The truffle mashed potatoes were very rich and delicious, I was hoping for fresh truffle on top.

    Been to this establishment several times and never a bad experience, food is always on point. Gotta learn to make a double shot neat. But other than that. Great evening.

    Had to keep asking for items throughout the meal. But, the biggest issue was that everything added to the filets (had the Trio), the truffles in the potatoes, and the dressing on the wedge salad where simply ALL too over-powering, and all that you could taste. Just not expecting with an almost 300 dollar lunch for 3.

    My boys took me to Prime for Mother’s Day, 2022. The calamari was cooked perfectly, and we enjoyed the sweet sauce that was drizzled on top. The deviled eggs were fabulous (although, when seeing others receive them later, we realized that theirs had bacon bits, which were missing from ours). I enjoyed the iceberg wedge salad, which was a bit overdressed, but still delighted the palate. For entrées, we ordered the lamb chops, the Moroccan salmon, the steak trio, and the paella risotto. The salad that accompanied the salmon was amazing, containing kale, quinoa, pomegranate, butternut squash, and feta. We finished with the pretzel-crusted brownie (the highlight of my meal) and the half-baked cookie. The service and food were fabulous! We highly recommend this dining experience.

    Service, food and ambiance are wonderful. They are know for their steak cuts and they don’t disappoint. We also had the octopus appetizer and Seabass entree. All of which were delicious. The service was fantastic. Julia was very attentive and on it.

    Celebrating my Birthday!!! I expected more. My meal was not HOT, my steak was over cooked, it was still decent. Service was ok, could have been better. Note never tell them your not in a rush... Homemade vanilla ice cream was delicious. Enjoyed my cocktail🌝 Only one Riesling brand to choose from, Oh no!!!

    Great food and service, but ambiance ruined by much too loud music from the bar causing those in the restaurant to talk much too loudly to be heard. If this is the new norm, not sure we'll return.

    Birthday dinner for my husband. Just an “okay experience” in my opinion. Tables are slightly close together and the noise level is too loud to really be relaxed and enjoyable.

    Weak wine list, I had to pour my own wine, oysters were super small, fish was overcooked, the Godiva crème brulee wasn't chocolate... I could go on.

    We chose Prime to celebrate our son's graduation from college. Everything was wonderful! They printed a special congratulations message on the menu, the staff was attentive and appropriately interactive and the food was excellent. This has definitely become a "go to" place to celebrate our special events!

    Came into Prime 'Nati to celebrate my wife's birthday. Made the reservation via open table and secured a hightop. Upon arrival, made manager aware of occasion and my hightop was substituted to a prime spot in the restaurant. Customized menu, excellent food, better service & a bourbon flight that was outstanding!

    Hello BobK, The promotion was from April 14 - April 24. The reservation books are not dependent on a promotion. They are always open, which is why you were able to make your reservation. If you stayed for your reservation, I hope you had a good experience. We apologize for the misunderstanding. We did opt into the extended promotion at our sister restaurant, Street City Pub, which is right next door if you would like to join us. The promotion ends this Sunday 5/1.

    Arrived and the host told us we were late for our reservation- which was true I got the time mixed up. He wasn’t very understanding, and seemed to be annoyed with us. Instead of seating us in the dining room, he made a 9 month pregnant woman sit at a high top in the bar/lounge. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was meh, nothing to write home about. We got the filet and the gnocchi, presentation was sloppy and the flavor was bland. Stayed for dessert the banana pudding was good, but the pretzel chocolate brownie was awful. Won’t be returning.

    Food was great. Service was outstanding. Jerry C was our waiter and he was spot on. His recommendations for drinks and for entrées was perfect. When my wife got sauce on her shirt he was also quick to bring out a shout cleaning wipe to help her get the spot off of her shirt. Jerry made the dining experience truly exceptional. Will definitely return again

    It may have been off night or just order the set menu for Restaurant week but was disappointed this visit. Service was also not that good waiter was non existent after take our order had to rely on the assistant, took for ever Tiger second glass of wine to finish dinner by time J got it steak was cold. Will be awhile before going back there.

    Filet was mediocre and the ahi tuna dinner was bland and in no way worth the price. We really wanted you to like this place. Service and cocktails were good, but unfortunately that was it.

    My friends and I dined at Prime Cincinnati before attending a play at the Aronoff. We were all impressed with the decor and the beautiful flowers at the entrance and in the dining area. The bar area is a really cool scene and we were lucky enough to be there when they had entertainment. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely return to Prime. It was one of our favorite pre-play restaurants.
