Looking for unique things to do in Dallas that are relaxing and gluten-free–friendly? This outdoor mineral soaking experience surprised us in the best way. Honest review of @worldsprings ♨️ We went the day after Christmas on a busy holiday weekend — and still really enjoyed it. WorldSprings is an outdoor mineral soaking destination with 40+ hot and cold pools, inspired by natural mineral springs from around the world 🌍. Each pool features different minerals, and you can genuinely feel the difference as you move around — from muscle recovery to circulation to pure relaxation. The biggest surprise? The after-effects. Best sleep I’ve had in ages and a noticeably calmer nervous system that night 😴 Before you go — a few things to know: • Book all-day access instead of the 3-hour soak • Bring your own water bottle and hydrate often • Add a massage (soak time is included) • Gluten-free food options on-site are limited • We recommend eating nearby instead 🍽️ • Non-peak times = better experience Nearby restaurants with good gluten-free options are noted at the end of the reel. A full, saveable guide is coming soon. There’s a bit of sticker shock up front 💸, but for the time spent and how we felt afterward, it was worth it for us. Part 2 coming next as we compare this to the spa experience at Gaylord Texan Resort ✨ Save this if you’re planning a Dallas-area date day or weekend reset. #glutenfreedallas #dallaswellness #dallasthingstodo

The food was great. I loved the spinach and asparagus. The creamy sauce on the tortellini was delicious. I’ve been there twice and the noise level was refreshingly low. Love that!

Very loud. Waiter was a little rushed. We read another review that mentioned to order pasta’s in half orders, so we did and it was not nearly what we expected. Food was great and we will go again.

It was our first visit, not sure we would return. Not sure their management is truly up to the task. We were there on a busy Saturday night. 6:45pm reservation, we were seated pretty close to time. (The 2 gentlemen at the hostess stand were the real MVPs of the evening.) The place was crowded, tables very close together- really too close. Felt too comunal for my personal taste. They want to be fancy, but they use paper menus, staff in t-shirts, and a QR code at the table to pay the bill. It is a confusing vibe. Here is where management failed. Our server was slammed, and could not handle it. There were others milling about but gave her no assistance. We waited FOREVER just to be greated and drink orders taken. We were a party of 5 at with a setup for 4. We asked 5 times for this to be fixed but finally we just took a setup from a nearby empty table. We were ignored for most of visit, no refills, flies in our drinks (we were seated indoors). When our server would do a drive-by she would apologize, but it didn't seem to change anything. I think we were there at least 30 minutes before our orders were taken, and we had to insist. We were told the food would come out at different intervals, which is crazy. We had to insist our guests go ahead and eat to not let theirs get cold. The whole evening was just not what I expected. As for the food, pasta is good but lacking. No protein offered, if you get the chicken parm it only comes with protein no pasta. Nothing really makes sense for the money. Perhaps if we had ordered salads or something to offset the wait and small portions we would have been better off? At the end of the meal our server never came back. We waited a while and then found the framed business card with a QR code hidden on the table to pay our bill. We paid our almost $300 and left. Dissapointing.

We chose Quartino’s to celebrate two birthdays with a party of nine, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I called and spoke to a manager Saturday to advise her we are a party of nine celebrating two birthdays. The service was absolutely awful! One entrée arrived late and my daughter had to get up to notify the staff. Our waiter never apologized or checked on our table. After dinner, I reminded our waiter that we were celebrating two birthdays. He handed us a dessert menu and disappeared. By the time he returned, two of our guests had already left, and by this time we simply asked for the check because we wanted to leave. What should have been a special evening ended with us leaving without ever celebrating our birthday guests. We weren’t expecting anything extravagant, just attentive service, basic hospitality, and acknowledgment of our special occasion. Very disappointing experience, especially for a restaurant entrusted with a family celebration. We dine at Quartino’s regularly and the past couple of times service has been suboptimal. My ask, address it and fix it or you will be losing some of your best and most loyal customers over all.

Prices were great, but service was very lacking. Regardless of how busy things get, still took a very long time for server to acknowledge us. Server was polite, but definitely overwhelmed and wasn’t attentive to us. Food quality was decent, but not as expected. Place is not romantic and very noisy. Good spot to grab lunch, but not for a romantic date.

Nice, clean restaurant with great ambience and a large bar area. The food was delicious just wish the servings were larger. The taste was great, just felt like the portions were rather small compared to other same type, same level Italian restaurants. The service and taste were great!
