About this restaurant

Great for brunch
Good for special occasions
Romantic

The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor & style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style “VIP” space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs.

Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.

Allow us to fulfil your needs - please let us know should you have any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal), food allergies, or food intolerances.

Foods are great but the ambiance is not good, too crowded customers in Lunch buffet. There is poor social distancing controlling and poor customers order management in the first hour (due to a lot of customers) For example, there are some food stations (such as grilled menus) that customers must write their order in paper and send to waitress. After get order, they will cook and serve to customers at their table. I ordered a few of grilled menus in same order but actually I got only one. I asked the waitress about the remaining menu but don’t get anything back.

As an older couple, I had my doubts about giving the gift of a noisy, family-friendly buffet to my hard-working husband. But, I did and we enjoyed every moment of it: from a wide range of well-prepared appetizers to endless lobster; the best chestnut soup I have ever had; mountains of food choices from countries near and including Thailand, and finally, dessert, Christmas carols, coffee choices, and more dessert. We happily rolled home. I would be interested in their dinner menu and will explore that another time.

Great variety of seafood but not tasty at all, nor impressive for the price.

It was nice except maybe we chose the wrong day to go as there were sooooo many people and it was very noisy so the quiet intimate dinner we expected didn’t quite go as planned. Wish we had know there would be some sort of business meal or group dining we would have picked a different day.
