The view from the dining room is of course amazing and looks unreal. However the layout of the actual dining room felt awkward and we were seated right in front of a short staircase. The food was also as if it was coming from a banquet hall. We ordered the NY strip which was decent but slightly undersalted, and the salmon which came with undercooked crunchy rice and overcooked and dry salmon. Our waitress Asia who was the best part of the whole experience offered to bring us something else to replace the salmon and we went with the shrimp linguine which was much better (and cooked well). However it was also still pretty average. Asia had a great attitude the whole night even though she was running around the whole dining room taking care of multiple tables. If we come back to visit we would definitely come back to share the experience with her again.

Although the view was nice, I couldn’t eat the filet that was served- chewy. The potatoes were cold and my hubby saw the table behind us send back theirs, as well. On a + note, the Cobb salad and drinks were very good (split the salad) and our server, Shari, was excellent! The m sure you can find a better option.

Food is OK- view is spectacular. Ordered the filet and the salmon.the filet was pretty good- the fish was average. We were told it comes in frozen from Cisco. Curry cauliflower was a solid appetizer but it needed more salt. Overall, the Page area is short of good restaurants. This one is a bit better than average.

It was just ok. I can’t say that I’d recommend it unless you’re staying there. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Food was average. Shrimp cocktail was good.

Good was average. More like banquet food than a high end restaurant. The view is beautiful but not worth going for the food. Service very slow and appear disorganized. Overheard guest ordering food or desert and thy ran out.

FAQs

The atmosphere centers on spectacular lake and canyon views, guests call the scenery “breathtaking” and recommend sunset seating. The dining style is casual Western resort dining, with a relaxed yet sometimes formal feel depending on the seating. Guest feedback is mixed about interior ambiance: many praise friendly staff and a lovely setting, while some describe the dining room as lacking warmth or feeling rushed when understaffed. Overall, it’s a destination for the view.

Sunset is the best time for views, many guests recommend timing your reservation to watch the sun dip over Lake Powell. For a quieter experience, choose earlier weeknights or non‑sunset dinner times; weekends and tour‑group evenings tend to be busiest. Because the restaurant fills for sunset and tour groups, reserve ahead and request a window table if the view is your priority.

There’s no published waiting‑list policy, but reservations are strongly recommended, guests report the restaurant fills for sunset and tour groups. During peak times you may face waits or limited seating, so call ahead if your reservation is late or you have special seating needs. If the dining room is busy, ask the host about a waitlist or alternatives; many guests say staff are helpful when informed in advance.

Families and multi‑generation groups do dine here, and many guests celebrate birthdays and bring children. The atmosphere is casual, which makes it family-friendly, but specific accessibility details aren’t listed, and table requests aren’t guaranteed. If you need wheelchair access, a highchair, or a specific table location, call ahead so staff can confirm accommodations and seating for your party.

Yes, this is a popular spot for date nights thanks to truly spectacular views of Lake Powell and sunset panoramas. Many guests celebrate anniversaries and special occasions here, and the dining room’s window tables make for a memorable evening. Keep in mind the experience can be mixed: guests praise the service and drinks but sometimes note slow service or uneven food quality. Book a sunset reservation, request a window table, dress casually, and call ahead to confirm seating for a special occasion.

Yes, you can request seating preferences (window table, anniversary seating, etc.) and note dietary needs when you book, but requests are not guaranteed. Many guests recommend calling ahead to confirm window seating, timing for sunset, or special occasion details. Because the restaurant is inside Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, also plan for the park entrance fee and mention any mobility or dietary accommodations when you call.

Yes, the published hours show daily service for breakfast and dinner, which indicates the restaurant operates every day. However, holiday hours or special schedules can change, so call ahead before a holiday visit to confirm service and make reservations.

Portions are generally generous, several guests mention hearty entrees and large starters. Some diners said entrees (like steaks and fried chicken) are sizable, and a few people commented that starters fill them up. That said, there are mixed notes: a few guests found certain items (salads or prime rib slices) smaller or thinner than expected. If portion size matters to you, consider sharing an appetizer and asking your server about typical entrée portions.

Midweek (Tuesday–Thursday) or non‑sunset early evenings are often the best choice for a quieter meal while still enjoying the views. Weekends and group tour nights tend to be busier and louder, if you want the sunset spectacle, a weekend reservation will deliver that, but expect crowds. Reserve in advance and specify your timing to get the experience you prefer.
