Great service great food friendly staff overall great experience
Even with reservation we waiting a while to be sat.
Food was Mediocre at best and VERY overpriced. And took close to 45 minutes after ordering to come to the table. They sat us next to the loud fountain which made even table conversation extremely difficult. Hard to understand waitress questions.
Last time we went about 10 years ago, it was nice. Seems like they either had an off day or the quality has goon downhill.
Over all great place to see will go back for children birthdays party
Rainforest Cafe has never failed to serve awesome food and a fun atmosphere for the kids!!
The world needs more themed restaurants that offer a show and an experience. Landrys nails it with truly a fun family experience or adult adventure— however you want to play it. Added bonus is ocean and rainforest advocacy!
Great service, very limited menu.
It took over an hour to get our food! Our reservation was at 6:45. We weren’t seated until almost 7:30.
The service was amazing since we got there until we left. The waiter was Very attentive and nice. She even took pick tires of us because it was our aniversario. Very nice surprise at the end with a happy anniversary delicious cheese cake and lights. I love that they sang a happy anniversary song which made us feel especial! Thank you everyone for the excellent experience
A bit loud and took a while to get the food, but we love Rainforest and Landry's. We are members and will be back!
Expensive food and drinks that weren’t good, just really paying for the atmosphere
Amazing service, excellent food!! Great ambiance ❤️
This place is so fun. My kids love it and the ride after is always a hit.
The food was terrible. I will never return.
Our kids have always loved the experience of coming to Rainforest Cafe, but the food is mediocre at best. The decor is pretty amazing and would definitely appeal to young kids; if you’re not interested in dropping about $140 for a family of four on poor quality food, I’d go elsewhere.
Good but too expensive!!
Loved the rainforest cafe so much! It just kinda sucked to be seated in a corner away from everything. The waitstaff is fantastic, the food is great, but not being able to see the animatronics pulls from the ambiance.
Nice experience overall. Not too many choices for food but I nice little variety. We go mostly for our kids to enjoy the atmosphere.
The restaurant was fantastic and the food was too. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The restaurant side took all the precautions of social distancing. The gift shop though, social distancing was a complete joke. It didn't bother me but I could see the ones it did bother. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there!
The service was good but the food was a little on the bad side
We love this location due to the amazing scenery! This trip wasn’t outstanding because the menu was limited and the ride was closed. Kinda a disappointment considering what you spend to eat there. Still enjoyed the waitress and the quietness! Great for my girls trip.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very unique. It was my first time eating here and I had a very pleasant experience.
Took 45 minutes to get our food. Our server kept forgetting about us. And I am a Landrys select member. Horrible service!
Our server was outstanding! Perfect example of what a server should be! I can’t remember his name. But he had a very foreign accent.
Food was less than. Pasta was cold. The fried shrimp was cooked too long. Service was meh under the circumstances
Great family fun. This location can get wait times up to 1 hour so plan ahead and accordingly with reservations
Over priced and chaotic
Rain Forest Cafe is a must for any occasion. Great family place to have dinner.
I made a reservation for 7:45 and was not seated until 8:00 it was useless making a reservation. And to top it off we were seated next to the waterfall my ear is still ringing from the noise it mada and could not have a conversation .
I would recommend it for ambiance & the experience. Can’t say I would recommend it for the food.
Very nice. Very good service and food
My family and I were celebrating my daughter and son birthdays on 1/25/2020 . We had a wonderful time and the food was great. Our waitress Kseniia was so polite and sweet and she even helped to make my boys comfortable because they were kind of frightened by the electronic animals . Mr. Lacy was great too he made our first visit to the RainForest Cafe -Galveston the best . We will be going back again soon .
Food exceeded our expectations.. They handled my wife's shell fish allergy extremely well. Great meal! The only negative is we had reservations, but the way diners are handled, it actually made us late for our time. Not a big deal, but on busier nights it could be a problem.
Out of town for New Years. Food was just ok. Pricey for what it was. Service was friendly but slow. I haven’t been to a Rainforest Cafe in a few years but this one just seemed about the atmosphere and nothing more
Poor service, lengthy wait time, extremely difficult to get server to rectify very cold food. By the time cold food was replaced the rest of party were done with their meals. Understood longer wait time but no attempt to correct bill for cold food not replaced timely and with argumentative server’s attitude. Won’t return.
This was a family dinner with 2 grandchildren, mother and father and grandparents and it was a great time for all. The service was great and the kids liked all the action.
We absolutely love the Rain forest cafe for kids. Always a enjoyable time and staff is always great. Food is okay.
With a booking, it took 15 mins until table was ready as it was a busy Saturday night. Service was efficient & friendly. Food was tasty with large servings. It is quite expensive for the quality of food in my view but you pay for the atmosphere and experience for the kids. I would recommend it to families with kids. Overall we had a good night.
Only reason you go to a place like this is for the kids. My toddler loved it! Balloon guy and even a water ride to go on. Food was good, a little pricey IMO.
