Weight staff is so nice always attentive
Exceptional service and food as always
Great food and drinks
The music was way to loud. We asked if the performer could turn it down and she told us that he would not listen to her. She told us that several people already asked and he refused. It was very hard to hear the person sitting next to me. I would have a difficult time recommending this restaurant to anyone.
Very load, pricey, avg food, and no gluten free options. It seemed that asking about gluten free options was quite the imposition. Too many other great options in the area to bother to go back.
Absolutely amazing meal, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We felt like family. We would highly recommend it to anyone else. We went on a Friday night and there was a fantastic singer there that set the perfect mood.
I thought it was very loud. I had ordered the mussels over pasta. the portion was substantial,
but I thought the red sauce was very weak and had no flavor.
I ordered the signature Ralphs drink, very very weak
For the cost, Over priced, and weak meal
Reservations were ready which is always nice. Had a wonderful waiter who gave us great service and was
very kind. Food was delicious, wine was good and atmosphere was great. Not as loud as some restaurants and we really enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to going back again.
I would recommend everyone give it a try.
Been to restaurant many times and this was the most disappointing . Server tried, but our party of 4 was " squeezed " between a part of 8 and another of 6 and it was not up to standards we have had on previous visits. Moreover, the noise level is expected, but this night was way above the norm.
Food was or, but my veal parm seemed overcooked and, again, not the normal. Hope it was just an off night at this otherwise good restaurant.
We had a 6pm reservation and were seated promptly at 6. Our waiter Phil come right over and got our drink order. We had an e celebrate dinner Snd our waiter Phil was fantastic. He was very attentive and had our order out right away. Our food was unbelievably good. I would highly recommend
Overall the meal was good. The peppers and cheese really good, but there were only 4 to the order. The bruschetta was good. I had the egllplant parmesan. It was good but definitely a little thin. I make a much thicker dish with lots of fresh vegetables. My husband and son had the veal. It's much better at Carmine's. This had too much broccoli rabe. My daughter had a pasta dish. Good sized portion, and she liked it. The music... Awesome!!!!! Just like Sinatra. The service was good, but for the prices and the type of restaurant, the servers should be higher end. She opened our wine bottle and poured it like a teenager.
Food was good, ambiance was just ok. Don't go on Friday night if you want to have a decent conversation with your date. Live singer (very loudly and and awfully) belting out Frank Sinatra songs during our entire meal.
Beautiful dining area EXCEPT for the fact that the lighting is SO low !! Is this so you cannot see what you are eating or so you cannot see the pricing ? Food was good and our server Phillip was magnificent. Great meatballs. Desserts were good too. Will return.
Birthday dinner. Food was wonderful. Made me feel very special.
Great meal. Waitstaff is not as professional as they should be.
Food was delicious. We made reservations so there was no wait time and they had some empty tables at 7:30 so maybe call for last minute tables. We sat in the back of restaurant and the couple we were with said he thinks the table should be turned because he was facing a wall and could not really enjoy restaurant. Chicken and veal parm were outstanding. The meatball appetizer was wonderful. It was our first time there so we didn’t realize the restaurant was inside the hotel we drove around the back of hotel looking for another building. Fun night out.
Food was good. It was very loud. I did not like that every time you put your fork down they wanted to take your plate.
Food is exceptional....and not overpriced!
Great find...especially for a restaurant located in a hotel!
Anthony is the best server EVER....we always request him.
Ralph's is located inside the Sheraton. It was busy but not full. We had a wonderful meal, the service was a bit slow in the beginning, staff left us alone until the remaining members of the party arrived. Food was delicious and portions were more than ample. Food was served promptly and the order was correct. Noise levels were moderate, we were able to talk or hear the background music with no issues. A very nice evening.
Everything was amazing except the table of three men sitting next to us. They were loud and obnoxious, dropping the f bomb every other word at the top of their lungs! No consideration for anyone around them! As we left I told the hostess that everything was great except that table and pointed to them. She said I’m so sorry but they are good friends of the owner. I don’t care who they know, they should not be allowed to behave that way. I suggest putting them in a corner from now on.
excellent food and ambiance
highly recommend the veal parm, calamari
I've been to the original Ralph's in S. Philly. The food doesn't hold a candle to it. From 1-10 (10 being best, I expected at least an 8-10 for food taste.) I give it a 6 for food taste and 5 for presentation.
The reservations easy to make, we were seated upon arrival, the service was good, and the food was delicious. We will be back :-)
I was told the Veal parmigiana was good. The sauce was like someone opened a can of tomato purée and over cooked it. The veal and chicken were so thin it was like cardboard. Asked for ice cream or Gelato and none available! Noise was was very loud, had to shout to be heard.
Opened with Bruschetta that was excellent. Move onto Veal Parm and Spaghetti with Crabmeat which was awesome. Finished with Tiramasu which was out if this world. Great service, very attentive. My husband and I were seated next to a table of 20 with kids. Very loud but great that the restaurant accommodates everyone! We will be back!
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Ralph's. The food was delicious; I had the Veal Picante and the sauce was the best I have ever had; also had the spaghetti with oil and toasted garlic which was superb. We had not seen each other for ages, and the waiter allowed us plenty of time and space to check up. He was very helpful with descriptions and answered all our questions with knowledge of the entries.
A few recommendations would be to inform clients that the Caesar Salad is prepared with anchovives; since I am allergic to shellfish, this could have been dreadful for me if I didn't ask first. Also, would love to have had a choice of Italian Ricotta Pie for dessert.
Since we enjoyed the food as much as we did, we are already planning to go back and definitely not only have already told friends to add it to their list but will tell others as well.
Good food and drink are to be found here. It would also be great if their King Of Prussia satellite room would carry some more of the great recipes which made their South Philadelphia original cousin famous !
Food was barely okay but service was good. Cost of the food wasn’t worth the price.
Always a great meal! The food, ambiance, and people are wonderful!
My daughter and I were in town and decided to enjoy a meal here at the hotel. I wish the bread was warm and I do wish I saw my server or a little bit more however... The food was fantastic! We had two different chicken dishes and tasted each other's and couldn't decide which one was better! The wine selection was decent and we ordered a bottle. It was very busy and I did feel a little silly for dressing up the way I did compared to other patrons so no need for putting on that special outfit which does make the atmosphere cozy and warm! I felt like Sunday meal at nonis house
The food was wonderful! Everything was delicious. However, the service was quite slow. Half of the table received their entrees and had to wait almost 10 minutes for the rest of the entrees.
Must have been a busy night.
I've been to the original and this is a different ambiance - but the food is perfect and we had a great Valentine's Day dinner here. Would highly recommend, especially the Veal Parmigiana (well, any veal actually as the veal was melt-in-your-mouth perfect).
Love the ambiance and LOVE the food here! Really cool new date spot.
It was ok but just that. Waiter was very good
I took my wife to the Ralph's of South Philly King of Prussia location for Valentine's Day dinner and we both had a fantastic time. Our waiter was prompt and polite and the food was excellent. I ordered the veal trombino and it was terrific. My wife ordered the beet caprese salad and said it was best she's ever had. We also ordered the best of Philly meatballs and the stuffed long hot peppers as our appetizers and they were both delicious. Overall, we both agreed that it was an outstanding meal and we will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend Ralph's of South Philly for anyone who enjoys traditional Italian food prepared to perfection.
Fabulous service especially by Albert Jason & John. The food is just like I've had at Ralph's on So. 9th st in South Philly. Try home made raviolis, meatballs, mussels in red sauce, crab & shrimp cocktails...and so much else.
Ralph's is my family's favorite Italian Restaurant to go to hands down. Have never been disappointed. We go here often. The veal dishes are incredible. Love this place!
Place was pretty empty. Food was good our waiter Anthony was great.
I would recommend Ralph's of South Philly in KOP. I was disappointed that I didn't even receive a birthday wish even though we mentioned it twice when we made our dinner reservations. The waiter never checked during the meal to see if our food was alright. The food (veal parm) was very good. We had to ask our waiter twice to refill our waters and then he disappeared. We didn't get the correct change when we paid our bill as we were shortchanged. He couldn't find the waiter to address this issue so we prorated the tip for this mistake. The ambiance was just OK, nothing fancy, kinda of bland and boring. The seat on the sofa made us sit very low and it was not that comfortable. We had a Living Social coupon said it was not that bad overall.
Food was your standard italian food you can get at any cookie cutter restaurant. We expected more of a old school italian type. The setting for an italian restaurant was not what we expected. We felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. The service was satisfactory.
