The Japanese yam appetizer was the most amazing appetizer I have had this year. Their pizza is always great and our mushroom pizza was delicious. But the yams blew me away. We wanted inside because it was so hot yesterday. But their inside didn't seem to be air conditioned?

The pizza is good and I loved that the dough is thin and similar to the authentic Italian pizza. Nevertheless, the prices were too expensive for what they offered. It was almost $30 for a pizza for 2 people with no meat on it… We were told the pasta was “meant for sharing” “family size”… it was actually a small bowl for 1-2 people.

Came in for the Nancy Silverton pizza deal but they denied the promoted start date. We were waiting to be seated for 10 mins before we were acknowledged, then sat for a really long time before given menus. One guy was working the bar and tables. Probably don't open doors for lunch if not ready to serve lunch? Will try again another time.

Our waiter was wonderful but as time went on we saw him less and less. An hour went by and we hadn’t been served our food. I had to go find him to let him know that we wanted to order more drinks and that we were still waiting for our food. They compensated us with a few items. The waiter informed us that the manager was taking care of this but the manager never came by to speak with us. Other than that, food was great, the ambiance was nice but not sure that I would recommend.

My waiter over heard my niece wishing me happy birthday over the phone and he surprised me with a complimentary dessert with a candle. So so thoughtful. I have always loved Roberta’s because of the number 1 pizza in LA (yes) the dough and the sauce truly makes it the best pizza in town however the staff is also caring and one of a kind. I will be back soon!

Always start w the bread & stracciatella. Today’s prosciutto & melon was the highlight. And for those that love a good burger, Roberta’s burger was spectacular.
