Trying good eats in San Diego 🍴 📍Roman Wolves | Little Italy Definitely a great spot for date night ❤️ We loved everything we tried, but the cheese wheel pasta was easily the star of the meal! We also got the Pornodivo, Lucius Spritz, and Romulus for drinks 🍸 ✨ Appetizers: • fiori di zucca – zucchini blossoms stuffed with oxtail and ricotta, served with a creamy cacio e pepe fondue, such a unique and delicious appetizer unlike anything we’ve had before • burrata carpaccio – imported burrata with pesto and thinly sliced tomatoes, fresh, light, and refreshing • Mediterranea flatbread – fresh mozzarella, marinara sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes, and basil pesto 🍝 Mains: • cioppino – a seafood stew with calamari, shrimp, mussels, mixed fish, black capers, and heirloom tomato broth • branzino – Mediterranean whole sea bass served with roasted vegetables, fresh herbs, olive oil, and lemon, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor • cheese wheel pasta – rigatoni with truffle, chicken, and mushrooms, tossed tableside in a cheese wheel, our favorite dish of the night 🍨 Dessert: • tartufo – a chocolate and pistachio gelato ball topped with dark chocolate, whipped cream, and crushed pistachios, the perfect sweet ending to the meal Thanks for having us @romanwolvessd #sandiegofood #sandiegoeats #littleitaly #italianfood #datenight

Roman Wolves tends to feel busiest during peak dinner service, when guests describe an energetic, loud bar and music and some reported waits around typical dinner times; by contrast, early-dinner visits can be quiet, one party found the restaurant empty at 4:30 and another noted a Wednesday 5:30 seating when the room was three-quarters empty.
