Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Rose Mary is Chef/Owner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. The boisterous space—named for Flamm’s grandmothers, Mary and Mary Rose, and the herb rosemary, which grows natively along the Italian and Croatian coastlines—offers a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes that encapsulate what Flamm has coined “Adriatic drinking food”.

Italian-Croatian dining in West Loop 🌱 @rosemarychicago Located in Chicago’s historic Fulton Market, this Italian-Croatian spot totally delivers on vibes. Loved that they started us off with complimentary zucchini fritters (so good - wish we ordered a full plate of these). My pasta (the Tortellini Djuvec) wasn’t my fav but it was my first visit, so I’ll definitely be going back to try more of the menu. A bit late, but we had the most amazing time at Rosemary’s in Fulton Market to celebrate Chris passing the Bar Exam! This place was delicious and the perfect place for a celebration! We started with the Tuna Crudo, that had the best umami flavor when dipped in the veal aioli. Next up was the Radiatore Cacio e Pepe that was a great way to break up the savory ness of our other dishes! For the main courses we had the Skradin Risotto and Cevapi, both a throwback to our honeymoon in Croatia and both packed with out of this world! We will certainly be back to Rosemary, and you should too!

If they put you at the end table by the kitchen with the service station. Please ask to move or else there will be a constant banging in to the table and the staff will hover over you which made the experience not so good

Rose Mary used to be my favorite. I could not believe how small the portion sizes were last night. The risotto was an absolute disappointment — same taste yet only had four bites and a pathetic skewer. We also were told we had a time limit yet kept flagging down our server. We were very surprised at how many empty tables there were on a Friday night but now we understand why.

Went for an afternoon date, ordered 4-5 plates for two, food was good as always, they are consistently good which is why I keep coming back. Great ambiance, good drinks, sat outside since weather was amazing. Server was the kindest, feel bad I forgot her name but she was incredibly attentive
