Besides the bar tender that said a minor cant seat at the bar, while we were waiting for the table and with a kitchen open, and the ladies at the front desk that doesn't care about anything, but their own gossip...everything was great. The manager an our table attendant saved our night.
Service was good but the food was not. It had no flavor and was over cooked. They forgot a side order so it came later in the meal. Def not what I expected.
So happy with Martin’s service next time i will ask for his service too, the food on point and the place so peaceful really love it
I paid 120 for a mini lobster 😂, gonna Yelp about this
Brunch Food seemed like it was sitting cooked .. it wasn’t fresh and it was cold
Spend so much money for nothing
Carly was great! Great food and portions. Great options for bottomless
We had requested outdoor seating but weather concerns resulted in us being seated indoors. Initially we were spaced but a party of 7 adult partiers was seated to our right and serial parties of 4 to our left. The larger party was within two feet of our chair backs, and they were mobile (including a well behaved but active child) and animated. We selected this restaurant based on our experience with the management company. That confidence appears misplaced. The food was really quite good but I am afraid the place is not safe (even by Miami standards) and is a “spreader” event in progress. I wish I had stayed away and urge you to do so.
Server questioned why I dared to change the default Tip amount of 20% to between 15% to 18%. I don't like places where the Tip is imposed at certain threshold, it should be meritorious not imposed.
Went there for a birthday dinner and the waitress was inattentive for the dining experience. Asked for my steak to be medium and it came out rare. It took the waitress a very long time to return so I could not send steak back. Average experience.
Great meal to end the night with an amazing view of the Miami waterfront
Excelent place .I recommended all my friends only the prices is to hight but is 5 star place.
I have been coming to this location often until 2 years ago when I realized the prices were getting too high. This evening I went with friends who are going to have guests from overseas and asked about exclusive and different locations.. the new design is ok inside but the outdoor furniture looks cheap .. and it took 50 minutes of waiting to sit outdoors since we were 4 adults and one child and they would not seat us at a 4 person table.. finally they did though, why it took so long, I have no idea.. the food was good, we had salmon, steak, and sushi, 4 glasses of wine. Price is still too high for my evaluation..The ambiance is nice due to the amazing view.. the worst part of the evening was that valet parking is mandatory which is silly in these COVID times. I would not have gone if I knew that.. it used to be a selective service..
I had a high top by the bar , could see the entire sky line of Miami while the sunset. The food and drinks were delicious had the Miami dolphins winning behind me. Can you think of a better Sunday afternoon? If so please let me know.
Mi lugar favorito para almuerzo o cena! Además de tener la mejor vista de Miami
Great outdoor dining with beautiful views of boats and jet skis. Spectacular views of the Miami skyline.
Horrible service and the food was sub-par. However the views were magnificent.
It was super packed kids crying really really laud.
Food was good
But they forgot things at times
Like maybe not serving all the drinks
Or not bringing things like, ketchup for the fries.
Or napkins for the desert.
Lemon for the whole snapper we order, not even offering it,
Not offering new utensils and cleaning the table on time.
I still tip 20% and my bill was pretty high.
But the service at packed times is just not good.
The food wasn’t so good at all
I had a reservation and I was seating within ten minutes
It took the waitress 15 minutes to get to my table
I think I’ll give Rusty Pelican a break for now
When the serve and food isn’t A1 it’s time to visit another restaurant
Delicious food, amazing view. I would highly recommend the salmon!
Use to be my favorite restaurant years ago but it’s gone downhill. Very disappointing. Needs updating and a better menu. Staff could use some training on service. Our waitress was not very attentive. Had to track someone down just to get the check. It wasn’t busy either. Don’t think we will be going back.
Beautiful place, not so many options of food, not worth for the value
Me and my girlfriend
We were kindly offered to wait at the bar for a table oitside whico we got within the time frame suggested. Very nice service, excellent food and view. We come back every year.
No respetaron mi reserva, dándome como alternativa solo esperar por al menos una hora.
Es de locos tener que llegar a Key Biscayne y recibir ese tipo de trato.
Ambience and views were great. Food was bland without much flavor. Lobster was deceptively small, while snapper required seasoning for taste. Worst yet was the steak, it was not cooked to the required temperature. I requested a medium well and I got medium. I decided not to send it back. The server was friendly. Overall, I believe the food has dropped quite a few notches since my last visit some times t years ago.
our experience was amazing. our server Dougles made our Anniversary one of the most amazing , exceptional evenings we have had in quite a long time. THANK YOU
This was a birthday celebration. Nice place and ambiance. But the food is not worth the money. The menu was small with not much to choose from. I even had a guest who didn't eat because of the menu selection.
service was superb yet the food was not good. like AT all.
Our waiter was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was amazing
Very chill, relaxing place to have dinner with your date. Great seafood.
Excellent sevice, ceviche not so good. spectacular views, excellent drinks. Great ambience music.
The Board for two was delicious- whole fried fish, shrimp, and lobster was fresh & beautifully presented including steak. The sides complemented dishes perfectly. The portions so generous we had to bring some home.
Valentina our server was excellent!
The food was extremely expensive for the flavor and service, my daughter asked for a surf and turf lobster was not fresh hat all I told waitress and it was not removed from my bill beside the place is nice but as a restaurant I don’t recommended
Love the place as the food is delicious!!! Took my husband for his birthday dinner and we had a great time with friends. We really recommend.
Anniversary 27 years!!
We love the Rusty Pelican. It is a Miami institution. It has the best cityscape view and wonderful drinks and fare. The service staff is very attentive and the fish is fresh!
That said, a *few important things that could be improved*: music noise level --consistently too high and it is hard to hear your company. White tablecloths for dinner, otherwise your tables are consistently sticky from the cleaning solution you use, cooking vegetarian dishes on a grill NOT used for meat (the peaches in the peach salad tasted of meat, this is really a bad faux pas), and bring back the lava-chocolate cake! Café-con-leche lava cake is great, but not after 7-pm (caffeine after this time is impossible for a lot of people). Plus, chocolate on the menu is kind of a must.
I have dined at the Rusty Pelican about 4 times in the last 4 months.
Very good food, excellent service
We went during brunch as a last minute decision and it was a rear choice! We sat inside and had a window seat to look out at the water. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered the brunch board for 2 and the steak was amazing! Lobster Benedict was good and the chicken and waffles were yummy too. We might try to substitute some things next time as we wanted to try other items on the menu that looked delicious. Our son ordered the kids Mac and cheese with fruit and it was super delicious! He normally doesn’t care for Mac and cheese so we were hesitant to order but he was shoveling it into his mouth!! And so we were too! We also ordered a spicy tuna roll and the tuna was very fresh and the roll was huge.
Great ambiance, great food, great dining experience. Will definitely come back.
