We booked at short notice for a Tuesday evening. We enjoyed our evening very much. The food was very good. The service was great (our waitress was Sarah); she was patient, helpful and attentive. Overall, the Bistro has pitched its offering very well. We will visit again for sure when next visiting Rye. I’m pleased we chose this restaurant which opened a little earlier this year.

Nice addition to Rye offerings, main courses were ok but all a little bland meaning it felt quite overpriced. Service was very good.

I think for a new venture it has started well judging by the meal and welcome we received. The Coq au Vin was particularly good but I do feel that the wine list could be expanded. Nevertheless I will eat here again.

We had a lovely relaxing meal with wine and would definitely go back. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was that the desert, chocolate tart, was a little underwhelming. The filling was very stiff and the tart case seemed a little “mass produced”. The staff were really lovely and so helpful!!

The atmosphere and the setting were lovely. And the service was excellent. Lovely staff. The food was skilfully cooked and good, the three of us thought, though not outstanding, only considering the price, which was relatively high. Overall, though, we would come again. And we think this place is a nice new addition to Rye.

We have visited and eaten in Rye many times. In truth all of the places we have eaten have been great, however this Bistro in tips the scales. Great ambience, mood, environment, service and food. Without doubt we'll be returning when we return to Rye.
