The afternoon tea was wonderful. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding and my daughter loved the teddy bear that came with her tea. Highly recommend!
We enjoy our date night out . Foods was very good and service and drink are so good . Will be back soon .
Overall very nice experience.. food, service and ambiance was excellent
Not a great Holiday tea. Windowless grey room, with little decor, doors shut, no air circulation. We could not get into our usual Ritz Carlton at Tysons. The staff at Pentagon City was very nice and lovely, the room was kind of awful.. $65 each.
Nice and cute experience, tea set up for sandwiches were great!
Food was great for Mediterranean cuisine. Too much tomato base stuff not my thing in sauces. Their black truffle garlic aioli is really good as was the shrimp itself and the Santé burger
Christmas dinner was terrible ! Not for the price
This is a new restaurant at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City. The food is excellent and certainly well priced for a Ritz restaurant. Entrees range from a low in the $20s to mid-$40s. The wine list is short and hovers around $15 a glass. Standard cocktails are a deal at only $10 a piece. Service is excellent and there is a nice gas fireplace to lend ambiance.
Afternoon Tea was nice great variety of food. Great service and valet parking.
We enjoyed it but due to cost probably won’t go again
This rating is for the Christmas Afternoon Tea. The food and the service were very good. The staff cheerfully accommodated substitution requests. We were a little disappointed there was no music as there has been at Christmas teas in the past.
That said, my friend and I agreed this would be our last time at the Ritz PC for tea. While it is a lovely experience, the $65++/pp cost is near-impossible to justify.
I really enjoyed all of the food and cocktails! The mule was my favorite!
We had dinner at Sante and we were very pleased with the friendly and courteous service. The food was delicious and well made. We will definitely go back
Food and drinks were impeccable. Located inside of the Ritz Carlton for a cute upscale feel. Perfect for date nights or any occasion. Service was also pretty good. Although some of the guest acted like they had never seen a black person before. That part was uncomfortable.
Exceptional service; very good food. Intimate setting with luxury vibe. Loved it!!!
Service was great, food was amazing! Great atmosphere for a lovely dinner.
Food is great, but everything else is bad
Food was great, atmosphere was too, service however needs aid. While they sat us promptly at our reservation time, they took forever (after initially handing us our menus) to return to our table to receive our order (half of which was charcuterie and cheeses), then even longer to get food to our table. Perhaps they were understaffed, but it's been better.
Slow kitchen with over cooked steaks. Very pleasant staff who work hard to make up the the foods short comings.
Thanks much. Glad to be back at the Ritz under a renovated place.
Excellent experience all around. Perfect setting for a bridal shower!
We came for tea. I generally have loved to coziness and intimacy of the bar there but the restaurant was too light, too loud, and had very little ambiance. It felt like we were in an overflow event space rather than a five-star hotel restaurant. Such a bummer to spend over $500 for tea like that. It was to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday and the kitchen did a nice birthday dessert for her. The staff was awesome. The actual tea was also very good. Wish they served it in the lounge instead.
We had a lovely time! It was loud at first, but then a huge party taking up over half the tables left and it was much more intimate (they were super loud). The food was amazing and the tea was so great. It was really nice. A little pricey for tea and small bites, but I would do it again.
Because of conflicting schedules, we're doing our family Thanksgiving on Saturday. So, my wife and I decided to go out to eat on Thanksgiving. What a wonderful meal! We were happy to find that the Thanksgiving menu included prime rib and scallops in addition to turkey. Both were beautifully done. We had a choice of butternut squash soup or fig salad to start. Dessert was a plate of four items, apple pie, pumpkin pie, banana rum cake, and something else I can't remember right now. And the service was just superior. Everyone we encountered was warm and pleasant and our server, Sahzudin, was a joy to be taken care of by! Yes, it was expensive, but our overall experience at this restaurant was tremendous. We are absolutely going to go back and partake of their regular menu in the very near future.
Sante had everything we wanted for Thanksgiving. Welcomed as if it were our parents receiving us. Waited on like queens and kings. And cooked for by the best. We learned Omar is still in the kitchen even though Fyve, where we’d been for three previous Thanksgivings, was bought! Nephew’s prime rib was fantastic and my turkey was so moist and the gravy delicious. Even the cauliflower that I substituted was roasted to make it more than delicious. Creamed spinach yummy. Can’t say enough about the relaxing, elegant experience.
Food was below average. Service took forever and there was hardly anyone in the place. One and done. Won’t go back.
We had an excellent waiter, but he couldn't make up for the lack of ambiance. We were looking forward to dining in the remodeled, new restaurant, but the Ritz has put so little design thought into the restaurant, we felt like we were eating in an overflow breakfast room from the bar. Paying Ritz prices in such a place just doesn't work. Some of the food was excellent, especially the oysters and grilled octopus. My husband's steak frite was very good, but my Persian chicken was just average. Cocktails weren't special at all (and we tried quite a few different ones amongst the 4 of us).
The bar tv's are visible to some of the tables - not usually a problem, except Fox News was on one of them. You'd think Ritz management would understand that In these times, a dinner out with some neutrality is welcome. The bar tender told me someone asked for it, so he was compensating by having basketball on the other tv. The fact that a table of diners asked for it to be switched, didn't matter.
With so many great restaurants in beautiful settings and interesting food in Arlington and Alexandria, this local won't be back at the Ritz - don't waste your time.
Small room with lots of noise from the bar detracts from the dining experience. But the food was good and the variety as well. The wine list is only by the glass so you have to ask how much the bottle would cost: eg., Malbec Decero was $13 a glass but $60 a bottle or about the same for 4 1/2 glasses. Octopus preparation was unusual but delicious as was the eggplant which included a number of vegetables. The osso buco was fairly tender but not unusual.
Birthday! Chef Kevin and his team made our birthday celebration absolutely special!
The service was decent but the food selections and overall ambiance were subpar.
Decent food but highly overpriced. It’s a hotel restaurant, which we didn’t realize before showing up, so that was disappointing too.
Wonderful afternoon tea experience.
