South African guy serving us was exemplary. Friendly, professional and good at explaining the dishes (and how to wrap the food we ordered) The Indian girl was also very friendly too. The only disappointing dish was the squid. Felt the batter was far too heavy (should have been more a tempura light batter as the strips are very thin)

This is a terrific Vietnamese restaurant ideally located in a very accessible, thriving area of the city. The menu has a decent range of choices, the food is freshly prepared to order and beautifully presented. Very authentic flavours and recipes are prepared with care and attention to detail. Front-of-house staff are very friendly, passionate about what they do and very professional. The only slightly negative observation I would make is that the wine is a little over-priced based upon quality.

Aromatic,homemade food! Delicious.The use of herbs and spices enhanced the food and with the correct balance. Now will return with others.One of my favourite restaurants now. Cosy.....polite staff....great food. Thank you also for my birthday ice cream.Homemade of course.

Came with my partner - table was ready for us and service was prompt and friendly. They did not have some of the menu items or they were incorrect on the menu compared to what we received (e.g. did not have some light bites available, and alcohol bought to table was different flavour to on menu). Feel menu was very overpriced - mains do not come with noodles or rice included, light bites that we did order came out of a can (observed this from the kitchen that is next to the bathroom). Serving sizes feel quite small but were tasty. Seating a little cramped and when delivery drivers come in and out for orders it creates a lot of draft. Not likely to return as feel not value for money

My husband and I really enjoyed lunch here. Interesting and varied menu with plenty of healthy options as well as catering for vegetarian/vegan diets. I enjoy trying new things - the exotic veg in my curry was really fun to eat! The tea was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, with such a cute teapot! Really enjoyed the Verdejo wine also (available by the glass which is very convenient). Couldn’t fault the service - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Quite small so you definitely need to book ahead, well worth a visit.

Lovely meal at SEN. We really loved our starters : crispy squid and a papaya salad. Really fresh and zingy. I loved my crispy tofu main and my husband enjoyed his special fried rice. All washed down with a lovely Riesling. We tried the Vietnamese drip coffee - a little sweet for my taste but it was interesting watching the coffee drip! All in all a super little restaurant. Been once before and will definitely add to list of pre theatre supper places . Friendly knowledgable staff who handled the busy restaurant at peak Festival time with aplomb.
