✨NEW AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN A GARDEN IN LA✨ I just got back from spending two weeks in Italy over the holidays, so I RAN to try this newly opened Italian restaurant that uses flour imported from Italy here in Los Angeles! Settecento is located in the Maguire Gardens in DTLA, right next to the Los Angeles Central Library, and their menu spans northern, southern, and Sicilian Italian food including unique appetizers, handmade pastas, and hearty mains. Easily my favorite thing on the menu is the Neapolitan-style pizza — and it’s no surprise, because they make it in-house from scratch with Italian flour in their wood-fired oven! Other highlights include their creative take on Caprese, and the thinly sliced Carpaccio di Manzo. They also have show-stopping ambiance both inside (hanging instruments and pillars made of books) and outside (multiple huge patios that transport you from the hustle and bustle of Downtown to a serene Italian vacation). Settecento is open 7 days a week, offering breakfast on weekdays and lunch and dinner every day. They’re even open late, until midnight on Friday and Saturday! Send this to someone you wanna take here, and follow me for more LA restaurant reviews and new openings, recommendations, and things to do! 🍕 @settecentodtla #losangeles #lafoodie #thingstodoinla #italianfood #dtla #newrestaurant
