I ordered for our group of six. Lettuce wraps, oyster mushrooms, veg crunch, shumai, ribs, barbara, chicken lo mein, crab fried rice. Everyone loved it all, especially the first three plates. It all flowed out to the table nicely. It's best to have more people to share more plates ;-)

Third time visit; most excellent nibbles and craving fixers. We enjoyed a Crunchy Root Vegetables Salad, Ginger Beef Lettuce Wraps and Crinkle Cut Fries. Next time I plan on the fried chicken. The restaurant has two levels; stairs up, no lift, so we reserved in the Living Room Bar. Comfortable and energetic, booths, tall tables, window seat and outdoor patio. Things going on. Great vintage decor.

A surprise 50th birthday celebration. Skinny Dukes worked with me to ensure the night went off without a hitch. They even let me bring in a special dessert that was needed for the surprise.

The space has cozy ‘living room’ seating and playful decor that’s ideal for a relaxed, intimate dinner. Note: it can get lively/noisy on busy nights, so ask for a quieter table or an upstairs dining spot when you book.

Portions at Skinny Duke’s are generally generous, many guests report large shareable plates and hearty mains. The menu is built for sharing (small & share plates, dim sum delights) and items like the Smash Burger and some appetizers are noted as large enough to be a main. Yes, the restaurant welcomes families and offers comfortable, casual seating. Guests report bringing children and celebrating birthdays; some seating areas are cozy ‘living room’ style which are family‑friendly. If accessibility needs are essential, call ahead to confirm specific seating and accessibility accommodations, since the venue has quirky vintage seating and some low coffee‑table style spots.

Early evening on weekdays is best for a quieter experience; weekends and peak dinner hours are lively and popular. Guests say late afternoons/early dinner seatings can be calmer for conversation, while prime weekend nights deliver the full energetic vibe and busier bar scene, book reservations if you want a specific table or a quieter corner.

Guests love the cozy, living‑room vibe, warm staff and playful energy; it’s described as comfortable, nostalgic and perfect for celebrations. Be aware it can be loud during busy nights, which some guests enjoy and others find disruptive for quiet conversation.
