Somerset is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner serving American cuisine from Michelin-starred Chef Lee Wolen (Boka) and the acclaimed Boka Restaurant Group. The locally sourced menu features what Chef Wolen describes as "food people like to eat." Menu highlights include the Whole Roasted Chicken (for two), Smoked Beet Tartare, seasonal flatbreads, as well as housemade pastas. Pastry Chef and Jean Banchet Award Winner Meg Galus has crafted the dessert program including whimsical takes on classic favorites.

The interiors, designed by James Beard Award winning design firm Avroko, are inspired by a new-fashioned take on American Country Club culture.

I chose Somerset at the last minute based on the reviews and they out performed my expectations!! The food was excellent and so was the service and atmosphere

Somerset was great if you get a decent table. They have a few tables that are very tight and difficult to get in and out of and have other diners super close to you. While eating our brunch we noticed them trying to seat people at these tables and almost everyone requested to be moved. The servers were very nice and helpful with the menu, but they were not able to cook eggs to our specifications. I ordered over medium for my avocado toast (so the yolk is runny but the whites are not) and got a completely hard cooked egg.

We come here ALL the time but this last time was very blah! Our waiter barely remembered anything or checked in on us. Only time he checked in was to order dessert probably to close us out. Seemed like he was annoyed that we were enjoying our drinks before ordering dessert. Also, they called at least 2x AND texted for reservations confirmation but our table wasn’t even ready when we got there. Food - always good!
As someone who lives near by and is regular, I think I’m going to take a little break.

We had a good meal at Somerset. Unfortunately, while each dish was good, nothing really stood out. The crudo was a little over garnished so the fish was hard to find, but it was still a good dish. The chilled shrimp were nicely cooked, but the cocktail sauce was so thick that it would not cling to the shrimped when you dipped them. The cod was perfectly cooked, but there was nothing memorable about it. The cheeseburger was a cheeseburger, although the fries were outstanding. Salted caramel cake was pretty good, but the chocolate layer cake could have been from the grocery store. If you want a safe meal with no surprises or bold flavors, this is the place. The service was very good as were the cocktail and wine selections.

Just thought that the coat check was a little off. It was difficult giving coats at hostess stand and being seated at same time too.

Celebrated our daughters birthday! What a fantastic place. The waiters were terrific and the wine sommelier was fantastic and made great suggestions! Will be back. The duck as delicious

We grabbed a reservation last minute which was great, but this place as changed since our last visit about a year ago. The food was pretty bad: the eggs reminded me of something you would get in a hospital cafeteria and the breakfast potatoes were burned. My dining partner asked if he could add ingredients to his omelette and was told yes by the waitress, but then the items came just as a side. Very strange. And our waitress was either having a bad day or was hungover because she didn’t smile once and rushed us through ordering. She wasn’t friendly and didn’t make us feel welcomed.

Great food - nice sized portions - quality food and nice presentation. Service was pretty good - think it was a busy night so server seemed a bit scattered. Only complaint was oysters - didn’t love the way they were prepared with the toppings. A bit of an overpowering taste. Loved the wine choices and ambiance.

Food was great but we had to wait an HOUR for our table - with a reservation! The waitstaff was very friendly and apologetic but hosts seemed to be apathetic. Despite the great meal, would be very reluctant to ever recommend. Very disappointing service for the price.

The only issue we had was that we had a reservation at 7:30 and were not seated until 8:50!!! Due to our long wait and patience they made up for it at dinner with 2 comp’d appetizers. The rest of the evening was fantastic!

We were there for restaurant week and had the pre fix menu. Food was excellent, staff and service were wonderful and attentive. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Will be returning for sure!

Somerset has a relaxed, yet contemporary and chic atmosphere and surprisingly, it does not feel like a hotel restaurant. The food was really well done. Seemingly simple dishes were elevated to levels that I did not expect from a hotel restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish that I had from the restaurant week menu and I appreciated that the server had an extensive knowledge of the menu.

We had an outstanding Restaurant Week lunch at Somerset. Every course was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I don't think any other restaurant will be able to match the terrific meal we had!

Splendid, diverse menu offerings. The roasted beet tartare starter is rich. It is also shareable, but keep it between you at equal distances. Fish choices are not exotic, but the accompanying sauces and vegetables are excellent accoutrements and make the dishes special.

The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant, observant and eager to please but without hovering.

This is a place to have fun or, if really necessary, serious conversations.

Oh, and Manhattan drinkers, the bar’s rye Manhattan is as good as they come.

The setting for this restaurant is lovely, and the menu is impressive. Our appetizers and first course were excellent. However, the service was slow, and the "grilled branzini" was actually poached and covered with something cold (caviar or quona?). Our desert was about average for a restaurant in this price range. However, the wine by the glass was a rip-off. The type on the drink menu was very small, and I thought I was ordering a glass of cabernet that was only slightly more expensive than the other glasses. I should have known that something was not correct when I was asked if I wanted the 3 oz. glass or the 6 oz. glass. The wine was mediocre. I sent the first bottle back because it had turned to vinegar. I am familiar with fine wines, as my ex-husband collected wine as a hobby. There was nothing special about the wine I ordered, but I was charged $70.00 for a 6 oz. glass. Per bottle that comes to over $500, and there is no way that that wine was worth it. So, beware of the wine list if you visit this restaurant.

Went to Somerset during Restaurant Week for brunch. Absolutely fantastic food and decor. I would highly recommend the chicken sandwich and beet tartare. The portions are large so be prepared to be full or share with each other. No complaints here though, well worth my money. Not crazy overpriced either. I’m planning to come back to celebrate my birthday.

Phenomenal customer service and super tasty food! It was my first time going and it will not be my last. I had a healthy meal, but had the option to splurge as well.

My friends and I came here for restaurant week but were disappointed with the brunch restaurant week menu. We all ended up getting entrees from the regular menu which were good but not outstanding. I had the duck confit hash which was just alright. I think I need to come back for dinner or lunch.

The food was really phenomenal; however for the $$ that we were paying for, I was really looking forward to a much more Michelin experience. First, we made our anniversary reservation at 8:45pm and were not seating until 9:35PM- almost a full hour wait. We bought a bottle at the bar and had to close out the tab before bringing it to our table which added another 5/10 mins. The bathroom did not have any extra napkins so we had to use tissues and when we left the tissues on the table, it was left there for the whole time. None of the servers cleaned it up while they did clean up our plates. Finally, we were given the wrong check at the end. So again, while the food was really amazing and we will be coming back one more time to understand if this night was a one off, I was expecting more from our anniversary dinner.

Delicious food served in a beautiful space designed out of the old Cedar Hotel. I went here with a group last Saturday night and had a great time. Entrees are a bit more expensive than they should be, but the food is outstanding and the portions are hearty. Standouts were the beef tartare, aged duck breast and hanger steak. The oysters were sweet and delicious, but on the small side. Service was good, but we had to wait a half hour past our reservation to get our table. In Somerset's defense, it was very busy and the guests sitting at our table did not want to leave. An excellent choice for a special night out!

It was great. It took a little longer to get our table (about 40 minutes past our reservation time and we were early for the reservation) but they were very accommodating once we were seated
