   It was a good experience until they forgot about us. We had a 7 course meal but after the 4th course they forgot about us and made us wait 30 mins for the 5th course. The staff was nice about it and try to give us an extra dish for free but we got a 7 course meal so we didn’t need any extra food. Also they knew we didn’t like the experience so they included 20% tip. I understand if we had a of 6 but with a party of 2 isn’t it illegal to automatically charge tip?

   Great food but the service was a bit sloppy, unfortunately. Our server missed items we'd ordered and someone poured sparkling water into my friend's drink at the table. Not even a recognition, apology or attempt to fix the issues. It's a shame because the dishes were really good.

   They were not doing the tasting menu because it was father's day. So I ordered the items from the tasting menu. The Himachi tartar and honey toast were the best things on the menu.The bacon breadcrumbs overwhelmed the grilled oysters. The hummus was great but the oxtail was eh. They really like chickpeas because its on the tasting menu twice with the octopus. The little fire symbol wasn't kidding on the octopus. Duck was cooked well. All in it was an eh experience on a slow night.

   Couldn't really understand the menu wish they had pictures and the words a little bigger but the waiters we're more than happy to help and explain dishes. Service was impeccable owner walked around greeting guest. Nice experience

   This is my second time back to Sparrow and Wolf, dining w/ a group vs. solo. And yet again, they smashed a homer past the upper decks and out of the park. The vibe and feel of a neighborhood gem is there where you can go for great food and drink. The cocktail list is varied and creative. On the food side, everything was great with the duck breast and charcuterie plates being universally lauded as the top dishes. S+W have created a restaurant that can stand with what the Strip can boast at a mere fraction of the price. I give it my highest recommendation.

    Dishes were well composed and thoughtful, honored both ends of the spectrum- love for the ingredient, and the love for a touch of Vegas decadence. Many of the dishes were revelations in execution- chopped grilled broccolini, why havent i been doing that? Lobster emulsion, essentially a modern flair on sauce americaine, to amplify barrundi. And you dont see it often, but they also do a fois gras on pork steak that will be a flavor combination i hope to see on menus. Service definitely left something to be wanted. It was the last night of our honeymoon and they gave our chit to a trainee that also had their hands busy with much larger tables. They sat us in a high traffic corner between two dining rooms so we witnessed a lot of chaos and confusion. There was an awkward moment where it seemed like they wanted to drop a celebration dessert as they marked our table with dessert ware, but alas we ended up waiting about 15 minutes for any service that hubby and i eventually just wanted the check at that point. I do believe this lapse in judgment was a fluke, as other tables around us seemed to get great service.

    Absolutely amazing Restaurant Week menu. Every item was incredible. Nick, our waiter, was a hoot and he turned down the music a notch so that we could hear each other! Wonderful restaurant that supports our community.

    We went for the great restaurant week menu. We also had to add the foie gras to our order. They even had a mocktail that I enjoyed. The food was great! Service was great! An owner / partner came by to chat with us, which made us feel special too. I can’t wait to go back again!

    Why does the tasting HAVE to be 2 hrs? Can’t you just give it 5-10 mins between each course? Seems like the service is better when you just go a la carte.

    Overall, it was great. Friendly staffs and exquisite food and service. I loved all the Chef’s tasting menu but the last dish, ‘Course six, Hudson Valley duck breast’ was little bit unpleasant for me. I assumed the mint flavor i tasted in the sauce was overpowering the entire dish. I couldn’t finish the delicious duck breast and dessert after all because it kinda ruined my palette. But I’m definitely want to come back again and try something new.

    One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my life (and I’ve been around the world) the wife and I both did the tasting menu and every single thing was unbelievable this is an absolute must try great staff as well you won’t be disappointed!!!

    Spectacular food, awesome service and a nice, refreshing treat for off the Strip dining-we are new to Sparrow & Wolf but will be back again! Our servers were all excellent and knowledgeable...but Felicia stood out for us. We have a similar restaurant in Vancouver B.C. called Published that I spoke of when we were there and when we got home found out they have been voted #1 Restaurant in Canada. Sparrow and Wolf was that good in our minds. We had the tasting menu and really enjoy that type of dining in order to get a real appreciation for the menu! Kudos.

    We sat on the corner of the bar 3 on end and one on the front. A little difficult to hear past the person next to you. The food was amazing! The bartender did a great job describing the dishes. The octopus was my favorite but everything g was excellent.!

    I typically don’t write bad reviews but so many people love this restaurant and I simply don’t get it. Talented chef, great service and ambiance. The cocktail list was spot on with great choices. However. I went to dinner with my wife and a buddy who was in town for the week. He is a winemaker from St. Helena and was a consultant when I used to own a winery. We know wine and consider ourselves foodies as well. We ordered the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing. Looking over the wine pairings we both said WTF at the same time. Whomever the Som was, decided to feature wines from around the world from obscure areas combined with esoteric varietals. I’m always up to try new things, but when you combine faulty wines paired incorrectly it’s a train wreck. They started with a Champagne, good first choice. But the rest all down hill unless you enjoy the taste of oxidation, VA so harsh you could take nail polish off and a finale of a screw top Amaro the color of blueberry paired with a Egg Custard Pie. Epic failure - Fernet and sweets? Nope! Food. Started off with bread and butter which was great. First course were two oysters, one raw and one baked. Great dish! Second course Sushi Grade Hamachi Tartare. Sounds great but not when the fish was pulverized into tuna fish w Mayo with a cracker. What a waste of quality fish. Third course, Oxtail Humus- great dish, will make this at home. Great concept. Fourth course- Octopus- overcooked rubbery and disjointed. Fifth course- Hudson Valley Duck Breast. This was a shocker of a plate. Luke warm duck breast,sliced over a spicy orange sauce and next to it was a mountain of Soba noodles, Bean sprouts and peas. The plating was so horrible it reminded me of a PBJ and a mountain of chips slammed next to it. No idea how to eat the mess. Last course was the Egg Custard Pie. Pie was quality and perfect. Yet at the end of the meal we found out that the Bread and Custard were made somewhere else not in house. Not surprised.

    I have been to this restaurant prior and it was super tasty. This time, however, half the dishes were extremely salty. We ordered a porterhouse steak special and it was a great cut of meat but the amount of salt added to it really negatively impacted our dining experience.

    We really enjoyed the Tasting Menu with accompanying wines. Our server, Nick, was delightful, giving us a great description of each of the seven courses and the wines (including why the wine was chosen). Each course was delicious and several included unexpected ingredients, which only enhanced the experience (braised oxtail over hummus as an example). They also accommodated my wife's pescatarian preference with wonderful substitutes for the meat dishes. A wonderful experience. Thank you.

    This was our second time dining here. The menu changes frequently, and we sampled some of the new options. The mainstays were still quite good, but we weren't fans of some of the new stuff. Service seemed slow and mildly inattentive (contrasting sharply with our first visit, which saw incredible flavors and service). We will still go back, but I sincerely hope that this time was just a minorly flawed experience.

    This is our favorite restaurant. Food is excellent and so is the service BUT they put a birthday party table, with 12 people right next to us and the noise/screaming/ loud laughing was so bad, we couldn't hear ourselves or the server. There is a room in the back for that! I left with a full belly and excruciating headache.. This is the second time it's happening and I don't think we will go there again. Shame cause the food is amazing
