Winners of the 2025 & 2026 Best Pub Restaurant in Metro VIC at the Australian Hotel's Association. Our kitchen delivers a seasonally-focused menu of modern and delicious dishes. Our menu features a variety of choices including all your pub classics and a selection of high quality steaks.

The menu is available throughout the venue whether you choose a cosy dining experience in our Dining Room overlooking the Carlton Gardens, or a more casual experience, in the heart of the action on one of our high tables or booths surrounding the bar. Additionally, head out to our side-street Beer Garden surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Carlton Gardens.

We had the Sunday roast which was lamb shoulder. This is hands down the best Sunday roast in Melbourne. Also the service is always 10/10

We loved our experience at St Andrew Hotel, food was delicious, service was exceptional. We were there to celebrate my girlfriend birthday they absolutely made her lunch very special. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, at a very competitive price. Great service. Sara our waitress was terrific. Made a note that she discreetly checked our table a few times during our meal and did not clear empty dishes until we were ALL finished. Very rare these days! And she was very pleasant. Of course, we will recommend and keep returning.

We had a lovely pre- show dinner here. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time, but the staff were accommodating with very prompt service. The hotel is warm and inviting and the food was very good. Outside area also looked like a great option gor a sunny day.

We like this hotel and have eaten there often over a number of years. I find the menu at the moment, limited. It was steak night special so a number of our party chose the steak. The server confirmed it was partially precooked - and I think that does show in the finished product. Mine was very chewy but others persisted and finished theirs. I wouldn’t choose that menu item again. Staff are excellent. The noise level was OK after we asked for the volume to be turned down.
