St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys has a new menu to accompany a refreshed look, and the exciting addition of our first ever Champagne School which marks the 150th anniversary of our station home. The original restaurant, designed in art deco style by Martin Brudnizki, now has a variety of flexible spaces perfect for get-togethers and informal meetings, as well as catering for parties of different sizes. Our much-loved Champagne bar is famously the longest in Europe, and has swiftly became a must-visit destination in London, where guests can enjoy the grandeur and panoramic views of the magnificent station.

Lovely place. We always come here for breakfast when I’m meeting Mum at the station. I think we’ve tried everything on the menu now and it’s alldelicious!

Excellent service for a relatively large group of 11; restaurant was accommodating when we had to increase the number of diners at the last minute. The set-menu was ideal for a large party, with good choice for everyone. Service was efficient but not hurried. Good value for money for central London.

Pre train catch up with aunties. Risotto starter was a great shade of green and delicious. Cod main was well cooked. Side of chanterelles carrots went well. Cheeky bottle of red to wash it down.

Our waitress (Olga, I think?) was fantastic and it enhanced what could have been a rather sterile experience. Not sure about some of the flavour combinations but generally the food was good and beautifully presented. A good option for the area and affordable with the set lunch menu.

Waiter came back 10 mins after we ordered to say he had forgotten what we ordered. 15 minutes later 2 crab starters were served - even though we ordered 2 shrimp cocktails. We finally got the right starter 10 mins later - asked for some more thousand island sauce as there was hardly any sauce in the dish. The sauce came 15 mins later by which time we had finished our starter. The pork main course was so tough I could not cut it- even with a steak knife.

2 recommendations - hire more staff and train them.

Lovely characterful place to eat outside the hustle and bustle of London Streets. Battered Haddock wonderful, wines and Champagne great flavours albeit a little pricy.

We took a group of 12 to the St. Pancras Brasserie after a meeting in London. The food was excellent. Most had the £29 fixed menu with a very nice Malbec to wash it down. Food was very tasty and remarkably good value for London. I would not hesitate to go again and have recommended it to colleagues.

A great place to eat in St Pancras, right by the Eurostar trains on the upper level but quiet and civilised inside. Very good oysters and steak for lunch with a good value wine selection.

Calm, elegant setting in a beautiful but busy station. The set menu is reasonable value but as you need a side dish - and this is £4 - it’s not really a set menu is it? I’ve noticed quite a few restaurants sneaking this added cost onto a set menu. Plenty of choice on the a la carte menu - my daughters burger was good and the Mother’s chicken escalope was lovely too. The steak on the set menu was very tasty and the mashed potatoes probably the best I’ve ever had.

We had been once before, for lunch, so with 3 days in London, had to come again. The food is delicious, service is attentive without being intrusive. Decor is modern but calming. We were staying in Southwark, but the tube trip here was well worth it.

Unhurried and extremely comfortable with a good ambience. I am a return customer and once again I was impressed by the food and service. The wine is a good price as recently I've noticed that many restaurants doing these deals have a prohibitive wine list starting at £48. Too much. Not so here so we had two bottles of wine and spent a leisurely couple of hours.

Moments of greatness, moments of disappointment is the best description of our Saturday lunch. We booked a set menu offer but my other half found the a la carte more appealing. The room is light and spacious, just by the Eurostar platform and it was by no means full — which left no excuse for the 30minute wait for starters which were both essentially cold meat which involved nothing more than cutting and garnishing.

It was the staff change over, and service ground to a halt. After asking about the delay, our starters arrived almost immediately — which was good, but underlined how unnecessary the wait had been. The ham hock and spiced sausage terrine was spot on, flavoursome, good texture, and the garnish of pickled cabbage and apple provided a perfect contrast of crunch and acidity. The charcuterie of British meats was also excellent. Both are light on bread if like your carbs, but on request, more arrived quickly.

The set menu main was a disappointment. The salt-cod cake itself was delicious, but the saffron sauce was far too salty. A sauce which should have been savoured was, instead avoided. The side of spring green was also heavily salted. Why do so many chefs fall into this trap? It's easy to add salt, but you can't take it out. In this case, the combination of salt in the sauce and strong hit of garlic from the mussles meant the delicate flavour of the saffron was completely swamped — a waste of a wonderful spice.

The wine list is excellent, and includes a delicious English sparkling wine — yes, I know, but trust me, it's worth a try. We also had a New Zealand riesling which was excellent, and just as our initial waitress had described. On the down side, having made a note of the label so we could keep an eye out for it again, we also saw how heftily it was marked up. The bill was also quite hefty as 17.5% service was added. We asked for it to be removed, which it was, and left a more appropriate cash tip. For the price, it's hard to recommend.

Booked a table for 8 people to celebrate my 50th birthday - what a major disappointment. Having made the booking 6 months prior and requested a particular table by the window, I was informed only 10 days beforehand that the table wasn't available unless I paid an additional £120, as this was classed as a 'private dining area'. I decided to take the option of an alternative table that was 'just as good' in the restaurant. On the night, the noise level in the restaurant was intolerable, so bad we couldn't hear each other speak. Seeing the 'private dining' table was vacant my husband enquired about the price and asked if it was possible to move. He was told abruptly he had already been told the price already, that it was £180 (£60 more than what I, his wife, had been told). We decided not to pay the newly inflated price and move because frankly the service had up to that point been incredibly slow, the noise level intolerable (which wouldn't have been any different in the not so 'private dining' area) and the staff rude, so why pay even more? The service went on to be very slow, with one suited manager attempting to explain that this was due to only one waiter being on duty, and yet I saw several suited staff just lolling around and who could have helped? All in all, the meal was a complete let down (late to arrive and not worth the money) which was a huge embarrassment in front of my family & friends. The service on the whole was extremely slow, not just with the arrival of the food, but also with the wine ordering and knowledge of the wine (chilling a bottle of red wine??). The waiter was at times rude (questioned one guest rudely about her judgement) and tried to put us off ordering pie as 'it would take so long'. I could go on but frankly I don't want to spend more time on this than I have to because I am already reminded of the £500+ bill I paid for the
experience. I so wish I had gone to a different restaurant. You certainly won't be seeing my custom again.

Excellent food, good value for this quality. We had the set menu and some a la carte dishes and all were delicious. Poor service on this occasion. Long delay in taking order and between each course, repeatedly forgetting our request for water. Have eaten here before and was good service, so likely a temporary glitch.

St Pancras Brasserie is such a convenient place to meet up for dinner with friends who are travelling into London by train. There is a reasonable choice in the set menu, including for vegetarians, and reasonably priced. The food is tasty, well presented and the dishes on the set menu do change as we dined there with different friends a month previously. The tables are nicely spaced so that diners do not disturb each other, and the ambience is good. The waiters were friendly and helpful, and the service was efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Brought my mum here for a treat, ordered eggs benedict and one of my muffins was burnt and my mum ordered salmon and scrambled egg and the salmon was salty, also overall was very unhappy with service as booked bottomless brunch and one of the waitresses came up to us 15 mins before the bottomless sparkling wine ended and said that it was the last glass we could have. Felt that it didn't make me feel like I had a good overall experience.
