Great food & service. Mr. & Mrs. C are always a delight!!
Our waiter, Alex, was phenomenal. He provided excellent customer service and answered all of our questions concerning the menu while maintaining multiple tables.
As usual the dinner date there was great. They have a good vibe with the family owned business and family recipes. You can’t go wrong picking Sugos for date night or any night.
Went with a party of 15 to celebrate a birthday. Everything was amazing! The recommendations made for food were spot on. We ordered a couple of each appetizer that was recommended, and they were all phenomenal! We were almost too full for entrees after that! Service was spot on. Will be back next time we visit Duluth!
The restaurant is beautiful and everything on the menu I have ever tried has been delicious. I like that they have a gluten free menu.
We had a wonderful evening at Sugo. Everyone was welcoming and charming, and the food was excellent. Our only problem is the lighting. I have been twice in the last few weeks and both times everyone had to get out their phone flashlight in order to read the menu!!!! Otherwise an excellent experience.
Simply outstanding! Thanks to Samantha for a lovely evening!
The only reason I rated the noise level as high was because there was what appeared to be a private party. This our second time at Sugo. Tonight we celebrated my wife's birthday. Our first time was 13 years ago to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent our first time and it hasn't changed. We had the octopus for our appetizer. For our entrees, I had the filet mignon and my wife the shrimp scampi. They were absolutely delicious.
Great Food! Great Service! Just a little loud for my liking
We had a wonderful experience for our group of 10 at your restaurant.
We have been Sugo fans since they were located in Clocktower Place on South Atlanta Street, Roswell, GA.
Even though their Jones Creek location is a longer drive we still go to Sugo.
Federico, Nancy and their family are always so welcoming and friendly and their food is wonderful.
We've always had great experiences when dining at Sugo!
Everything about it was lovely. The food was delicious the server was super attentive, kind and made suggestions. It was a great place for an anniversary dinner.
Always a fantastic time!
Delicious food, fast service, and wonderful experience!
Family owned restaurant and you can tell. Impeccable service and food. I’ve never had a bad experience here. We were craving chicken piccata and it wasn’t on the menu but they mad it for us. That’s a real restaurant! They are also an allergy friendly restaurant. Our waiter was Fraser and he was wonderful!
All around good food, atmosphere and service. A little pricey but nice overall.
Thanks once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my husband and I first time and an outing for my birthday...what a great choice. From the moment we walked in and until we left we felt welcomed...our server Cristal was Excellent! Her warm smile and energetic personality was a welcoming surprise and her description of the dishes made you want to try it all! Our dinner choices were the Beet Salad, Mushroom Risotto Balls and the Halibut...a 5 star meal! We will definitely make a return visit!
Always a great meal at Sugo
Great meal with my daughter before her school’s father-daughter dance!
The food was excellent and creatively prepared. Our server gave us excellent service. The owner greeted us and all of the staff was very cordial and concerned that we have a pleasant experience. I would strongly recommend Sugo. We had the Lena's chicken, the Eggplant Parmesan and the Frederico's Braciole. Everyone was pleased with their meal and we will return.
The thing about Sugo is this. First, the owners and employees truly care about their customers, and go out of their way to interact with you and make your visit with them special. Second, no matter how many times you go - the quality of the food, and their constant work to add new/special items to the menu is great - everything you order is as awesome as possible. Rock solid place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, do work dinner, get together with friends, or just enjoy a romantic meal.
Food was excellent as always and the entire staff, particularly Nancy and Fred, make you feel welcomed from the time you walk in the door!!
Went to Sufi for my anniversary they gave us a anniversary card and a free dessert. Flat bread and meatball appetizer was delicious. We had Aunt Lenas Chicken and shrimp scampi both were very good
Birthday dinner for our daughter... food was amazing!! The best meatballs ever! Wonderful dinner will be goi g back soon.
The service was very good and the ambiance and decor was overall very good. There are a few areas where I can definitely hope for improvement for this dining establishment, being that we dine all over the country. For one, you cannot serve a zucchini pasta menu from your menu in a puddle of water, you must first drain it. This was not appetizing. Plating is ALL about the impression and the look of the food and presentation, so that was very disappointing for the caliber of restaurant this is. Also, parmesan cheese was not offered and this is listed and categorized as an Italian restaurant. Instead of grated parmesan, we have never been handed a small thing of canned parmesan, however here we were on Saturday night.
We were visiting from Chicago with dear friends and are very spoiled by the fine dining in Chicago, but we had never experienced this before. Also, there was Chambord and Gray Goose missing from my French Martini I ordered.
Overall, the service was great, but the food and drink was nothing to write home about, we are not impressed at all. Also, we felt that due to the location, possibly restaurants closer to the city possibly are better equipped.
I took my wife here for our anniversary and we had a fantastic time. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The owner came by and talked with us and made us feel very welcome. This is our new special occasion restaurant. I can't recommend it highly enough.
The octopus appetizer was outstanding, and as always the meatball appetizers were good too! The fish special was excellent. It was a really fun night!
Coming from Chicago where there are a plethora of wonderful restaurants, we were not only surprised but amazed by our entire experience at Sugo. Mr. C as he's called, welcomed us at our table and gave a detailed description of the best dishes and why his restaurant stands apart from others. We had the famous meatball and also the octopus as starters. Both were phenomenal. Braciole and wild mushroom pasta for entrees, again both great although I was excited about the scallops option, but we'll try it next time. Amy, our waitress was friendly and gave a great wine recommendation. From the moment we were greeted at the hostess station, with a true and pleasant greeting to our last bite, it was a memorable meal.
Great meals, great service, as usual!
The food is fabulous, and the service is top-notch. My husband and I went here for his birthday, and really enjoyed ourselves. For a romantic dinner, it's a bit noisy and not overly intimate--we were sandwiched between a large party and a couple who chose to both sit on the bench side instead of across from each other. The lighting is soft, and the incredible dishes made up for the close quarters.
This is a neighborhood gem and is perfect for date night or a family gathering.
i want the meatball sugo in my mouth all the time. I'd gargle their sauce on the daily if they'd let me.
Fantastic food and service. Always a great experience.
Wonderful food, service, and ambiance. Special anniversary celebration. Appreciate the coupon and acknowledgement.
We've been going here for 15 years and they never cease to amaze me. Food and service are always top notch.
Our "go-to" place when we want a great meal and be served well.
We LOVE Sugo and highly recommend for any occasion.
Food was fabulous except for the octopus app that was tough as nails; other than that everything else was delish!
