7 of us shoved in a corner back to back with other large and very loud parties. Servers were very nice but had to ask several times for many things. Asked 3 times for bread which didn’t arrive until after the appetizers. Didn’t receive the drinks that were ordered and had to ask for them again. One person didn’t receive their dinner that was ordered…had to ask again for that. Never had our water refilled or was ever asked if we wanted more drinks. Ordered a medium steak and was well done…had it sent back and they brought a steak that looked like it was 4oz…still charged me full price and on top of it charged for the one that was sent back too. Had to dispute the bill and then waited forever and had to ask for our bill so we could leave. A bad experience overall! Will not be recommending or going back to what was once my favorite restaurant.
This was our first time to go to Sullivans. We had Brian as our server and he was great. We go to many different steakhouses, and this steak was one of the best. The only complaint I have, is they didn’t have espresso martini’s. Something about an espresso martini with your steak is phenomenal. Hopefully they add that soon. All in all, great experience! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere.
Wrong steak was brought out-server order error. Did not eat it but still had to pay for it. Slow service and strange clientele for a place that used to be so upscale.
Unfortunately, this last experience was so poor that it may be the end of my dining here. We arrived at 6:30pm for a 6:30 reservation. The restaurant was not set up for ANY diners and there were around 20-30 people crammed into the lobby, some of which that were waiting over 40 mins when they had a reservation. We waited 30 minutes to be seated and then when we sat down 20 more minutes went by without being greeted. We asked for a wine list but then never received service so we got up and went to a competing steakhouse and got great service there.
I took my dad here for a good steak and we were disappointed by the service, price point and quality of the food for the price. I understand that all restaurants are understaffed these days, but there seemed to be a lack of communication between the front and back of the house. Overall, we had an overpriced yet decent meal with lacking service. The experience was fine, but I’ll be going to different steakhouses in the area going forward.
Not the best experience at all. We were at the restaurant when it first opened and I’m not sure if that had to do with anything. At the time we were there 6 steaks were ordered and 5 needed to be sent back. Service was pretty slow even though there were only 3 parties in the restaurant at the time. Our server was great but the food was not especially considering we drove over 30 minutes in snowy weather to dine here
Our server Tra was extremely professional and friendly. We had a question on some preferred sides and he gave us his opinion which ended up being a great choice along w our meal. He was prompt w all service. I've been here many times, but this was my dates first visit and a successful one. Thx again to Tra!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Tra

The lobster/shrimp bisque tasted fishy and led to a not so pleasant evening. Then we ordered some expresso which took no time at all to make and tasted just like coffee microwaved to an unsafe temperature.
It was my wife’s birthday and she had heard of Sullivan’s and we decided to go
Service was really slow. Not our servers fault but restaurant was crowded. Took awhile to get cocktails and put our order in.
First time I was ever disappointed at this restaurant food was spot on as always drinks and service disappointed

I have to say that it was mixed. Some items were very good, such as the beef wellington appetisers, but others were very bad such as the calamari. Not so much that the calamari was heavy in percent of hot peppers but the calamari itself was stringy, legs were missing, thus frozen and was not hot.
We were seated near the kitchen which was unpleasant and noisy. Our wine was delayed.
The seared tuna was good, the rib eye, not so much, tender but fatty. The salads were very fresh and onion soup always 4-star. It's a pricy place for what it is in the end, not fine dining.
Sandy, the general manager was fantastic - had the opportunity to meet her and thank her for working New Years Eve. Nick, our waiter was flawless; service, attentive, and on his game. Thank you to the entire Sullivan’s team for making the night perfect.
Service by Matt was awesome!! Appetizers were room temperature and drinks were not made well for the price. A rosemary orange old fashion should not taste like a whiskey sour with a sprig of rosemary and no orange.
The experience was ok. I have been to Sullivan's about a dozen times over the last few months. I understand that due to it being a holiday it was a particularly tough day, HOWEVER, arriving 15 min early for my reservations and not being seated until 30min after my appointed time was not a good start to the evening. As a business owner & problem solver, this could have been prevented with proper staffing. Taking a look at historical data would have probably shown that this is a busy weekend especially coming out of a pandemic when everyone wants to be out of the house. Despite the hostess being out of her element, (which she was not ashamed to share) she was professional as she could be as she was being abused by angry patrons. Hopefully this message is read and examined by the restaurant manager. Analytics matter.
We arrived 1 hour before our reservation but were able to be seated right away. They were most accommodating and service could not have been any better. I was a bit disappointed the prix fixe menu was not available, but it was listed on the menu.
Food is fantastic! Their cheesesteak egg rolls are to die for! A little on the pricey side but admittedly it was worth it for sure. The food is just that good! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Great service but they could not cook lamb chops, nice that they tried and failed a second time and did not charge us but hardly a fun dinner for two with only one meal to eat. Over priced drinks and perhaps riding on a past reputation.
Very nice dining experience. My husband and I really enjoyed everything. The ambiance, the service, and the food were wonderful. Looking forward to coming again!!

The best service!
The food was very good, but not really special and it was very pricey. Service was excellent. The wait staff went out of their way to help me to my table. I use a walker and they cleared a path for me together to the table without going through a maze. Our waiter was very attentive without hovering. The wait between salads and main course was a little long, but they were very busy that night. Overall, I would not recommend it to a friend because of the high prices.
Major disappointment. The food was late, not cooked right and no where near prime.
Steaks were tough and looks like they downgraded the meat quality.
They were overbooked and had poor staff performance from the kitchen out to the table.
For a place that had 5 stars, it took a nose dive.
They ran out of glasses and you had to wait for awhile to get a drink . Then as soon as you finished your drink the grabbed the glass right away
Service was terrible. The waiter could not be bothered to take his time and give good service. It took 20 min to even get a glass of wine. All employees wore their masks down below their nose or on their chin not appropriately wearing a facemask. I was so disappointed on the service considering the price of the food which was also not worth what they were charging.
Paid 73 bucks for a wagyu bone in New York. Was so tough my jaw hurt the next day. Skin on baked potato was like leather. Apps were very good and so was service.
I have dined at Sullivans several times and was a little disappointed with the service. The server was not as attentive as I have had in the past. The need to flag him down in order to request something is unacceptable.

I love Sullivan’s… atmosphere, service and food are always outstanding.
Food was burned and had no seasoning. It would have at least been bearable if it was only “overcooked”.
The cheesecake desert in the end helped clear our tongues of the horrible taste. And the cheesecake had salty crust.
In the end, the waiter came back to ask us why his tip was so low.
He should have been grateful I tipped at all.

Our dining experience was outstanding. The service and food was exceptional. Our only complaint is the room was cold. My husband had to wear his jacket throughout the evening. We saw other guests do the same.
