– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

    They made my son’s birthday super special with homemade donuts and an artistic drawing of him to take home. John was our server and was awesome. My family commented that the breakfast plates were beautiful and tasted awesome. Nate and Chef Jake along with the team sung happy birthday to our table. My son said it was the best dining experience he has had in a very long time.

    Naiomi was the best! We grabbed some TEX-MEX while visiting Charlotte, are were so surprised at the amazing flavor. Coming from Texas we eat a lot of Tex-Mex. Chips with a few sauces to choose from was a great way to start. So many bright and amazing flavors, it's hard to pick which one we liked best! The shrimp taco, so good. Might have been my favorite part of the meal! If you're looking for MOLE chicken, get it! It's so tasty. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, go for the cauliflower tacos. Drinks were also really good, table favorite was the Little HAVANA. When we're back in Charlotte, we'll be grabbing a table here again!

    That was rough! I’ve been here a bunch of times, but it’s been a while. Greeting by the hostess was atrocious. She seemed very unhappy and not able to use the reservation system. We waited about 1 hour 45 minutes for our food, and mine was cold. No offer of water or asking if we wanted any more drinks after our first ones arrived. The bill came out wrong. The noise level was deafening so we couldn’t talk much to each other. It was my friend’s birthday so a piece of cake was offered by the server which didn’t come. Wild experience for a Wednesday night. I’ll give it time and come back after a while.

    Food was too spicy - even though a couple of us told the server we couldn't eat spicy food she did not give us the right info to help us navigate the menu. The chicken enchiladas suiza, which she assured us were mild, where quite spice because the chicken was smothered in a tinga sauce, and the suiza sauce had some heat as well. Had to send mine back and they replaced with grilled chicken. Went for Sunday brunch and still took 2 hours even though the restaurant was only half full. Then after we had finished eating the server informed us they had recently changed the menu to make everything spicier - she should have told us this up front because we had eaten at their sister restaurant before. She did give us a birthday pancake - the size of a dinner plate - by far the best thing we ate!!! If we had know, we would have ordered pancakes!! Although I didn't see them on the menu. None of us will go back. Plus $10 for parking in the garage. Very disappointed.

    Our server went above and beyond - my daughter ordered a drink and she checked her ID. At the end of the meal she brought her a special dessert because she noticed her birthday was the next day! So very thoughtful!

    Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. The service was slow and impersonal. Everything took a while to arrive, but nothing was very hot. The crispy chicken tacos were a bit soggy by the time they arrived and the steak tacos were fatty. We got our queso about 5 minutes before the chips got to the table so it was cold as well. The server never came back to ask about the food even though we were sat in the back by the bathrooms where the servers had a stand. To spend about $100 on a night out for that experience was just not worth it. I don't expect us to go back anytime soon.
