Chicagoans know that just because a restaurant is downtown, doesn’t mean that it’s going to be worth eating at! However, that’s not the case at @sweetwaterchi 🙌🏽 I was eyeing the smash tacos and they delivered! I got mine made with impossible meat and they were GOOD…… and also stuffed full! Even the appetizers – the Bang Bang Shrimp and the chicken nachos - solid options. I loved the sauce on the shrimp! But that PEANUT BUTTER SNICKERS PIE?! Omg! It was delicious! The crust is made with crushed Oreo s- so that’s already a win. But the peanut butter moose mixture that they use? Along with the Snickers crumbled on top? It easily places itself in the top desserts that I’ve had from Chicago restaurants! This spot is a solid option for good eats in the downtown Chicago area! #planesandplates #chicago #chicagorestaurants #downtownchicago #chicagofood Food, foodie, Chicago food, travel, things to do in Chicago, Chicago restaurants, the loop Chicago, restaurants in the loop, content creator, traveling, wander, wanderlust, 312food, choose Chicago, food photography, food, foodies, the loop, content creator, influencer, Chicago influencer, travel creator, travel influencer, foodporn

Looking for where to eat near Millennium Park? @sweetwaterchi on Michigan Avenue nails the after-work vibe with upscale tavern food, great cocktails, and TVs for the game. We had fried pickles, kung pao cauliflower, steak with chimichurri, a poke bowl, and a warm skillet cookie to finish. Perfect spot for dinner downtown Chicago, just steps from the park.

#Hosted | Swung by @sweetwaterchi after work for an early dinner and left full and satisfied 😋 Right on Michigan Ave, it’s spacious with tons of TVs and genuinely welcoming service. A cool spot if you’re nearby and craving laid-back American eats with a twist. The menu has a little bit of everything—from burgers and Tex Mex to seafood and rotating seasonal specials. I went with the Blueberry Mint G&T cocktail (highly recommend) and yes… dessert nachos are a thing. 👀🍨 . . . . . . . . . . #SweetwaterChi #ChicagoEats #HostedVisit #chicagoinfluencers #chicagoblogger #thingstodoinchicago #microinfluencer #michiganave #nanoinfluencer #312food #magmile #goodeats #chicagooutdoorpatio #chicagobar #explorechicago #summertimechi #chicagofoodscene #fyp #chicagobar #explorepage #yelpchicago #discoverunder10k

It is a dessert first kind of day. Thank you @sweetwaterchi for welcoming me in. These are “nacho” ordinary nachos you are already drooling over but their dessert nachos. I had to get “jalepeño” scorpion burger with habanero jack, five pepper jam and scorpion aioli and of course one cannot go without tots. Then the sweet Thai chili chicken slide on in then came along the grouper. This fish was lounging on jalapeño crab grits next to grilled asparagus with a salsa verde and smoked tomato charred onion relish, delish. I had to sip on the Rainbow Road the cocktail of the month to celebrate #pride was garnished with my fave candy. Plus I was “hoppy” to try their exclusive @gooseisland brew Bottlenectar. “Ale” have to say it hit the spot on a hot day. Are you still thinking about those dessert nachos? 🍔🍨🍺🐟🍹🍔🍨🍺🐟🍹 #chicagogram #dessertfirst #burgertime #beerme #cocktailporn #seafoodlover #choosechicago #enjoyillinois #chicagorestaurants #feedmeandtellmeimpretty
