Taherah Indian restaurant open for 52 years is a quintessential local London Indian restaurant located in Belsize Village. Inspired by popular dishes from regions of India, such as Rajasthan to Calcutta and even Bangladesh, Taherah Indian offers an extensive menu created with premium produce, and the manager Mujib is always on hand to help tailor your dish to your needs, whether you prefer mild spices or need wheat or gluten free dishes. The crisp white, cream and chocolate colour scheme has a historical Indian twist with intricate wooden carvings and artworks, and the atmosphere at Taherah Indian is gracious and welcoming.

A nice quiet restaurant serving Indian food. Clean and comfortable, friendly courteous staff and served promptly. The food was freshly prepared and piping hot and delicious. All in all a really good experience. We will return as soon as possible for a repeat!

All the dishes we had were winners including the really well spices samosas and side dishes. All flavourful with individual characters. Great service too!
