Telefèric Barcelona sits at 2nd & PCH on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, steps from Alamitos Bay. The Padrosa family — pioneers of the pintxos & tapas movement in Catalonia — opened their first restaurant near Barcelona in 1992. Executive Chef Oscar Cabezas leads the kitchen: tapas and pintxos made for sharing, seafood paella made to order with socarrat, jamón ibérico de bellota sliced to order, and 100+ Spanish wines selected by Catalonian sommeliers. Join us Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Enjoy a selected drinks for less, like Telefèric Sangría, Catalan G&T, The Tourist, La Flaca, Red Velvet, Spanish wines and more! Pair each drink with a selection of our signature tapas, like Patatas Bravas, Tuna Tacos, Paella Mixta and more! Come for the drinks and transition right into dinner.

Enjoy the freedom to choose food items from our à la carte menu, with a minimum spend of $65 per person on food and drinks. Taxes and service charge are not included. The kids' menu is available for children up to 12 years old and is optional, ensuring a flexible dining experience for families. For $35 per child, the kids' menu includes a variety of kid-friendly dishes: Ham Croquetas, Patatas Bravas, Mac & Cheese, and Churros. If you choose to reserve and enjoy "Dine Your Way", an events manager will reach out to confirm your event details. Please let us know in the reservation comments how many guests in your party will be kids. The tapas were great. Loved all the ones we ordered. The braised shrimp tapas was really good. Could have had more bread to soak up all that olive oil mix. Disappointed with the lobster paella. My husband had a shrimp in the paella that was powdery. Ordered the churros dessert and got the Trio. Because of the noise level the waiter heard trio instead of churro. We took the dessert but should have returned it for the churros.

Great tapas and paella. If you have or haven't been to Barcelona, you have to try this place. The Iberico and paella were really good. The brussel sprouts were a surprise hit as well. Definitely try the wagyu empanadas. Basically, everything we had were delish. If you go during happy hour, there are some really good deals on food and drinks. Definitely coming back!

I’ve enjoyed the Palo Alto location for quality of food and attentiveness of staff. The Long Beach location did not meet those expectations.

Great food and service. Accoustic could be better. It’s hard to have a conversation. They should lower the music as the acoustic is not great. Other than that good was amazing. I’ll be back!

We visited Telefèric Barcelona in Long Beach on Saturday, 10/17, with a party of 10. Overall, the food was good, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Most of the food was enjoyable, with the exception of the oysters, which didn’t taste as fresh as we would have expected. The biggest disappointment was the service. We repeatedly had to look around and wave down our server just to order drinks. Once we finally placed our orders, it took another 15–20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Our server kept mentioning that the bar was backed up, which was surprising given that the restaurant didn’t seem particularly busy. To make matters worse, the bill included an automatic 20% service charge, which was disappointing considering the level of service we received. We came in hoping for a great dining experience, especially for a group celebration, but the slow service and lack of attentiveness took away from the overall experience. While the food was generally good, the service did not meet our expectations. At this point, we’re not sure we would return. Hopefully, management can address these issues because the restaurant has potential.

A group of four friends had an early dinner at telferic. The lobster paella was delicious. We decided to add crispy ham to it and yum! We also had the tuna tacos, iberico ham, crab croquetas, gambas , and , patatas bravas. Everything was delicious. And the teleferic sangria is a must try.
