                                                                Nice cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Sunday lunch roast was great. Separate dining area had a nice fire and was pleasant to he in as the main bar/eating area was very busy.

                                                                We ate here Sunday for a roast dinner, i had the lamb and my husband had the chicken. It was absolutely delicious apart from the roast potato's they were hard. The service was fabulous. Very polite and professional. We would definitely eat here again and recommend it.

                                                                The Ladies toilets were disgusting there was excrement on the seat of one of the toilets and the other the light didn’t work, absolutely awful!

                                                                What an experience in a restaurant that actually listens to a diner and produces food that meets all expectations. Lovely staff and great space with lots of room for individual conversation. Lovely wine and liquor selection.

                                                                Great local pub restaurant - wonderful ambience and good food. BUT food was served on cold plates which meant the meal was cold within minutes of arriving. Shame, as this is something we have complained about in the past and is so easy to rectify.

                                                                I booked this place to take my parents for Sunday lunch, on the basis of the reviews on-line. I wasn't disappointed, the service was excellent, from being greeted by the friendly staff as we walked in, to the attention we received throughout the meal which was very good without being over the top. As for the pub, it was extremely comfortable with tables spaced well and was just busy enough without being frantic. There are lots of windows so the place has a very bright feel. The décor and style was pleasing and well maintained. The food was very good and would recommend the roast. I will come back again and would highly recommend.

                                                                A regular at this pub. Fantastic bar staff who are always excellent. Food quality (which has always been fantastic) has gone down v badly recently. We waited over an hour in for partly cooked salmon, cold veg and a passable shepherd's pie. The bar staff were apologetic and refunded us. This is the second time. Will not be returning for food till this is sorted.
