Very attentive server.
We drive from Lebanon just to dine here.
Anniversary for my parents.they loved it!
There was live music inside, which we did not expect (there never has been in many previous visits), and it was hard to have a conversation and hear each other.
Great food, atmosphere and service! Loved that they carried Heineken Zero!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! Highly Recommend.
Average experience. More of a casual dining setting.
Lovely setting and great service. Perfect spot to unwind with friends.
Beautiful Venue! The ambiance is very nice and staff was wonderful. The food unfortunately did not match the quality of the staff and venue. I hate to write a bad review….but this was our experience at Sunday Brunch. The grounds and all that have been done here is fantastic!
Perfect for me and my homecoming date! Great service and good food!
Our server was great. Food took a long time to get to table (45 min after appetizer was cleared).
I ordered a veggie burger on top of spinach salad. When delivered, it was a terrible tasting hamburger. Waitress was sweet & took it off my plate & bill.
The barn restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at in this area. We had friends visiting and we’re excited to take them to our special spot. We had a 6 o’clock reservation and waited 15 min before our server approached the table (after asking the hostess for service) and then waited another 20 min before we were served drinks. When I asked where a side salad was, my server was rather rude. Overall, the food was delicious as always but the service was slow and inattentive. It was extremely disappointing to have had this experience when we were so excited to bring friends in. Please train the staff- we understand if the food is slow or you are busy, but you need to check in with your tables and show kindness, not annoyance.
Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Had a great time and food and service very good. Wish they had a few more selections as the menu was very short!
It was a fantastic experience! The only downside was there was some food unavailable.
Great ambience good service
Food quality mediocre
used to be very good maybe Covid now
Didn’t know I needed to request to sit outside. We were seated inside and others were all placed outside.
I requested to have our table changed and the hostess said those were all specifically reserved for outside, explained had I known I would have done the same.
BTW - A table did sit empty outside the entire time we were there.
Wonderfully prepared food. Excellent bartender!
The menu is limited and there was a small wait staff-not surprising do to the current situation. We enjoyed our meal.
Enjoyed dinner with the family. First experience at The Barn was very good. Service was excellent, except for a long wait for dessert. One dinner was not edible because of a poor cut of meat. Otherwise, the food was very good. Ambience was excellent. Plan to return when possible.
Very limited menu. Not the same menu that is on their website. Mediocre wine list.
The food and presentation was very good. The service also great. The Server was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. We had outside seating, which was pleasant and scenic. The four people in our group were all very pleased and plan on returning in the near future
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Very good service in a beautiful setting.
We really like this restaurant but we were sad to see the Barn Burger missing from the menu because of supply chain issues.
The food was cold, the atmosphere was great. The staff seemed unorganized
It was a very disappointing meal. We were seated at 6:45 PM and we were served our meal at 8:45 PM we had to ask the waitress for more drinks several times. She would come by our table look at our empty drinks and turned to walk away and we had to ask her again for something to drink. and the only thing she could say to us when we asked if our dinner was coming is that the kitchen was backed up.
Sitting outside on the patio late Sunday afternoon was a perfect way to end the weekend. Ordered salads and drinks. We completed our meal with their famous sticky bun and ice cream.
Very disappointed, have always been big fans. It took an hour to get our food!!!! Portions small, who serves omlets without any toast or potatoes??? Prices don't align with quantity. Made reservations for outdoor seating 6 days ahead and on arrival we're told it was full. The menu continues to shrink with none of our favorite dishes. Steak with steak and eggs was well done way overcooked beyond medium. Can't recommended.
Ambience is lovely, outdoor seating is covered - huge plus. Food was very good and served hot, something I appreciated. However, kitchen staff will make no changes to anything on the menu, and I mean no changes. We were there for brunch and my husband wanted his eggs over easy - no way, it’s scrambled or nothing. My omelet was delicious, but it came as an omelet - no garnish, no toast, no nothing, simply eggs on a white plate! And there was no option to add toast as a side dish. Just weird. Our server was lovely, but clearly overworked. Waited forever to get salt, pepper & catsup, food was cold by the time it came. So unfortunate because it could have been a spectacular brunch with just a bit more effort.
The wait for our dinner was over an hour. The food was good but not as good as I expected. My steak (at $35) was full of gristle and served with way too much sauce which was cold and gloppy making for a very unappealing presentation. My son had the seared tuna which was really spicy - almost too spicy to eat. We had to hunt down our waitress for plates for shared apps/salads and for more water. Overall I expected more.
Food was great. Table (outside balcony) was great. Waitress (Stephanie) was SOOO nice. Kitchen was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry, so didn't mind at all. Great night.
The appetizers arrived quickly along with our very delicious beforehand drinks. Our dinners were very delayed, about 20-30 minutes after appetizer dishes were cleared. The service was good except dirty dishes remained on the table. We enjoyed our first experience at the Barn and will return.
Menu is in transition, so a bit limited. Am certain the new menu will be great. As always, Lucas did a nice job behind the bar.
Terrific meal and service. We sat outside, and enjoyed the view!
Our son took us here before covid and everything was just excellent. We decided to take our daughter for her birthday and we were really looking forward to it. Fair warning - their website has not been updated so the menu there does not reflect the current menu. There were only four main course selections - 3 were fish dishes and the fourth was pork. No chicken. No beef. And nothing came with them. Just crab cakes or trout on the plate for $30.00. My husbands' trout had a couple green beans on the plate. There were no rolls or bread offered. The food itself was very good but I hated to see what has happened to this once great restaurant. I think the focus now is mainly on the drinks and appetizers.
My two sisters and I get together once a month. This month we met for brunch at the Barn, followed by the theater.
We were disappointed that we were not able to sit outside - it was a beautiful day. Also, some of the food items were not available. Perhaps what was most annoying were the black flies. We had to constantly shoo them away from our food. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our server, Margaret. She was very helpful - and the show was fantastic!
Perhaps have a screen door in place when the doors are open to the outside seating area.
Service was awful and usually is. Took them 30 minutes to even get us water as we sat outside in 90 degree heat with our toddler. Told us there weren't children menus and high chairs when there were because we there a couple weeks ago and they had both. I got the "Old County Breakfast" which was completely overpriced and bland. It is a beautiful place and the live music is always good which is the only reason why we even go there. I would recommend to grab a drink but that is it.
We absolutely loved it here! We ate outside on the patio and there was a live band below. The food was great! I had steak and my husband had the burger. We enjoyed the food. The desserts were delicious. After we ate, we walked the grounds. The property is magnificent. I would recommend this restaurant. It was a nice experience and we will definitely be returning again.
Twice in last month and service still sub-par. Something about having to remind the server to warm up the sticky bun. Stop throwing a room temperature bun in a bowl and calling it something special. Warm up the darn bun and give the option for pecans. I’m paying $100+ for two of us.
Thanks - great experience
Very limited menu. Be sure to check it online before going.
Great brunch in a beautiful setting!
