Paii at The House on Sathorn - W Bangkok
Taking its name from the Thai word ‘Paii', which means to paddle, the new restaurant presents the best of local and imported seafood while honouring the legacy of the founder of The House on Sathorn, Luang Sathorn Rajayutka, who created Sathorn Canal.
Highlights include the local Giant River Prawn, char-grilled and served with “choo chee” curry sauce; the French Razor Clams, flambéed table-side with house-made XO sauce; and the French Turbot, stuffed with lemongrass, shallots and kaffir lime leaves and baked in a thick Thai herb salt crust. Diners will not want to miss the Giant Crab Fried Rice, made with organic jasmine rice from Nakhon Pathom. The plate is designed for sharing and topped with no less than half a kilo of freshly steamed Surat Thani mud crab meat.

The event is warm feeling with delicious sweets. Tea was very great. Sweet for afternoon tea frog set for two is abit too much. Probably need some small portion for both afternoon tea set and dinner set

What we had was excellent! We even ordered seconds for the Tom Ka seafood! Sea bass with spice and banana palm salad with prawns. Enjoyed them very much! Thank you House of Sathorn. See you again!

It was all very nice and good, but since so few patrons we where asked WAY to often, by whoever in the staff passing, if the food was good, ev ok etc, got to be too much
Overall is ok but I hope the service were better. The staff is not well trained in some part as customers requested.

Freezing cold dining room and it was a beautiful evening outside .My starter was cold servic non existent though no customers and loads of staff My snow fish was not very fresh
food to the ambiance the music far exceeded our expectation. What an amazing setting. I would personally recommend outdoor seating. Indoor seating just doesn’t do justice to the beauty of this place. Our personal favourite was the crab fried rice which was sufficient for 5 people (girls) given that this was followed by a three course lunch in the city. The waiter communicated well and was able to help with the selection of food. Highly recommend this place.

Upon seeing the stunning exterior you know you are in for a memorable culinary experience. But I had no clue that the food would outdo the stunning restaurant ambience. Every course was beyond my expectations. An incredibly lovely staff and team. Blew my expectations out of the water. I cannot wait to go back and was so sad I ate there on my last night in Bangkok otherwise would have gone back the next day. Truth be told Exceptional is a word that does not do the food justice. The cocktails especially the Asian Negroni and the Flying Pig were top notch as well. Thank you for a fantastic evening.
We have a 8:30 booking, we are running little bit late and when we arrived already welcome by the warm staff smile, the service is very good, and the food is an amazing... must come back again every time in Bangkok
The food is delicious and very rich. Special dishes inspired by the Chef's origin Turkey. However, we were the only ones that evening. They charge you THB 450 for ordinary mineral water.
