We went for Valentines dinner. We try to eat Keto and the staff was very helpful in preparing a wonderful healthy meal for us. The atmosphere was nice, just not quite 5 star type though. I have no complaints. It was a nice place.

Great service and really good food. The music is fun and exciting but not too loud. We asked for a chef’s special and our waiter recommended the Gekkeikan sake. Didn’t disappoint. And ample space between our tables for social distancing.

I frequent The Fish a couple of times a year and the value for the food is high and the cocktails are awesome.

Great place to gather, drink and eat. Our waiter, Lee, was fabulous!! One of the best services we’ve ever had. Busy night. He had multiple tables, but never skipped a beat! I highly recommend

Reservation was easy to set up. the waiter did a nice job(his first week) taking care of us. did forget a reorder on the drink but made up for it quickly. the food was outstanding - we went with an appetizer followed by sushi. unique and very flavorful - well prepared. would go here again.

Fish is an American version of sushi and sashimi. Great service and waiters.

I’ve been going to the fish since 2010 when I first moved to HTX. Still haven’t found another sushi spot that compares. It’s always a vibe; the food is amazing, service is amazing & it’s never a wait! Miss my girl Janet but everyone else is amazing too. Best sushi restaurant in Houston, period! ✨

You know a business is hurting when the waiter pours the last of the iced tea in the jug-pretty much water and he looks at it and shrugs off.

The sake selection was varied and fantastic, and the sushi rolls were on point for a delightful evening for my wife and I. Will be back!

Good service and when we dined here on a previous time, an error with our order was very courteously and promptly handled. The food is probably a 7 to 8 out if 10. Sashimi fish seems fresh and tastes great. During Friday and Saturday nights, noise level gets loud, as they get pretty full from what we've noticed, so great if that's the ambiance you're looking for, but not for a quiet, romantic dinner. We definitely recommend.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to take a chance on this restaurant. My husband and I loved the food. All of our dishes were presented beautifully. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. We’ll be back next time we come to Houston.

Very original rolls as well as plenty of other options. Nice space as well, we came when it was pretty empty but it was super lively by the time we left and the noise level was still great.

Love The Fish - best sushi value in Houston. Wednesday took great care of us - Adam (GM) always checks in to make sure we’re being taken care of & Linda does a great job filling in when Adams not there. The special rolls are creative & Sushi chefs always make old favorites upon request. Will be back soon!

I’m very confused why this restaurant has a great rating. This might have been the worst sushi I’ve ever had and was clearly cheap and fake.
We ordered one of the special rolls for the night and it came out wet and soggy like it had water spilled over it. Next we ordered chicken fried rice which honestly tasted worse than microwaved fried rice (the waitress confirmed it is microwaved).
For the price, the food quality was horrible. It did have a good environment, but that’s about it.

Rolls were overpriced for the size and quality. Poke bowl was way over priced for less than 1/4 up of salmon and had way too much rice at 1.5 cups. Server was good. Ambiance was nice.

Service was VERY slow.

Food was amazing and the service took it to the next level. Fantastic experience all the way through.

I enjoy the food at The Fish but the last few times the service has been very slow and items are forgotten and slow to be delivered, which holds up partaking in the meal.

First time and our waiter, Anthony, went out of his way to take exceptional care of my wife and I. It was my wife’s birthday and a memorable experience! The food was wonderful and the service was great! We will go back and take our family and friends!

We had a business meeting there and this as out first visit. It was amazing!! Food was great! Loved the Brussel sprouts and fries!!

I love the sushi roll choices at The Fish and always love what I get. We typically have good luck with the service when we come here but this time they struggled a bit. They were all very nice but service was slow and they we had to ask twice for them to bring two different items that we ordered that they simply forgot. We had to chase them down to get refills and order additional rolls because they did not stop by periodically to check on us. Also, we were sitting next to a table of 8 people and two of them were very loud....so much so that those in our party sitting closest to their table were unable to hear any of the conversation at our table. Having said that, it was absolutely no fault of the restaurant. Overall I will go back there because I do love the food so much but just wish we had better luck with our service that night.

When I arrived at the restaurant the Hostess stated that she didn't see a reservation for me, it was no problem but I wasted my time setting the reservation. The waiter was exceptional he was very attentive and went above and beyond for my friends birthday. I expected the Fish to be more packed but overall it was a good experience. Awesome Fried Bananas and Ice Cream.

The experience was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Linda the manager/bartender was awesome and on point with her service. Our server was very polite and professional!

Everything was class the wine was also good.
