Fresh from the Gulf
Spending $35 on steak which was the worst we have ever had. Not the best seafood either . Disappointed.
Great service and super yummy food!!
Food was not good at all. I couldn’t even chew the chicken that came in the salad.
Great food and pleasant ambiance. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening.
Always enjoy this boardwalk eatery. We went here for Independence Day July 4th. Outstanding service. Great seafood platter delicious. Fun RWB frozen drinks. And the fireworks on the water spectacular. So glad to be here.
great service, food, ambience galore, nice menu with many selections
Food is kinda plain. Waiter claimed redfish had complex flavors. I'd you call salty a complex flavor, then ok
Great seafood with a beautiful view. Great and friendly service.
Food was mediocre. Waitress was fantastic. Won’t be back.
How can an Oyster Bar be completely OUT of Oysters at 5:30 PM? Very disappointed.
Our server was very knowledgeable. She made suggestions when asked. Which all turned out fabulous. She was very friendly and attentive. She seemed to know what we might need before we asked for it.
Friends from out of town came in for rock the dock
Took my husband here for his birthday and he loved it. Great food. Great drinks and amazing service.
Just a great service.
Food was mediocre at best. Service was also mediocre. Only positive was being able to stare at the water. Won’t be back. Ever.
I was comfortable with guests not wearing masks but very uncomfortable with staff not wearing masks when standing over us talking and taking orders.
The meal was a bit skimpy...like most other restraunts a $21.99 shrimp dinner would have had a salad and bread...Not sure if I will be back...too many other choices with better prices for what you get.
The food was mediocre.
Took 25 minutes from the time we were seated for the waitress to even approach our table to take a drink order
Great customer service for Mother’s Day!
Our draft beers tasted odd. Told server who explained tap just cleaned. Never offered to replace with bottled beer. This was surprising given the caliber restaurant.
Our waiter was the best ever. We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We have been coming for 20 years since 2000. Our waiter made the day so special. Thank you!!
The food is sub par but the ambience and view is great.
The server seemed to be overwhelmed at the end of the evening. She was pushing us to hurry up and order at 8:45. To our understanding the restaurant was open until 10 pm. She did not seem to remember when we asked for water, drinks, condiments etc. The restaurant was not that full when we were there. Nor did she seem to have a lot of tables. She just seemed really overwhelmed.
On the upside, the hostesses were great. We had some extra people that ended up coming with us. They found us a table immediately and were very accommodating. Food was very good. So that was a plus as well.
We were outside but our server didn’t have a face masks. OpenTable needs to update their COVID-19 guidelines.
They were clearly struggling- worst catfish ever
We sat inside but still had a great view of the water! The blackened redfish with maque choux was delicious! The blackened catfish topped with crawfish etoufee was good but on the sweet not spicy side. Service was great!
After driving 1.5 hours to this restaurant and half hour looking for a parking spot available, finally we sit to eat. Service was great, but food was not as expected, and very pricey.
Weekend was busy but dining inside by the window was beautiful. Food was great! Oysters a must!
Great food, didn't seem to busy but server was slow at things. Noise seemed a bit excessive, was a lot of peoples birthdays though. Overall would recommend and go back again.
enjoyed watching all the boats and people to by....
Great meal with friends.
Great seafood and wonderful views of the gulf. Lots of outdoor seating made the dinner perfect for social distancing.
When I arrived, the whole boardwalk like a ghost town and the restaurant was not open. Waisted time and had to find another establishment to eat for Valentine’s Day.
I had not been here in at least 20 years and it will probably be that is long again. Just an okay restaurant on the Boardwalk.
I had the $20 fish and chips and I have had better at fast food places. The $9 "Kemah lime" pie was small and not as good as Ms. Edwards pies.
Great service, food was great. We went early so there was alot of empty tables. Price was reasonable for what you get.
great food great atmosphere outside dinning a plus. out
Food served did not exactly match description on menu (no oysters). Grilled shrimp was dry and rubbery, but the bacon wrapped shrimp and tilapia were both excellent. Service was good.
Patio was open with lots of fresh air to enjoy a lunch with friends.
