As usual the Hopvine was great. A lovely relaxing place to dine with a great menu. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent experience COVID safe
We have been twice to the hop vine in the last month and half and both times were amazing. The food is absolutely gorgeous and the salt n pepper ribs are to die for! We will be returning time and time again. Thank you

Been eating here for years without any Complaints. On this occasion, I found my mushroom starter to be a touch too salty, my main course of confit of duck was very dry and didn't work with the bubble & squeak and blueberries. The bottle of red Portuguese wine was fairly bland and not worth £20.
Maybe I shouldn't have booked with all this covid stuff going on, as it's slightly tarnished my view of the place, and probably won't return now, until things return to normal, if they ever will. 1st time I've been disappointed here 😔.

Always a pleasure to visit the hop vine. We were in the piano room but didn't like it felt too 'crowded'. Will request to be in another section when we come again and we will.

Excellent food, service was very efficient and the staff were very attentive. The meal was also very very good value for money. My husband went for the Steak & Grape special, and I had the Hunters Chicken, both meals were very tasty, and came piping hot. Dessert was Baileys Cheesecake with pouring cream, which was delicious and we were able to share it.

The food was great as usual but the service was poor.We arrived at 6:55 for our 7:00 booking and got drinks then waited for our starter until 7:50 and this this theme went on through to dessert. We left soon after our dessert and that was 9:50

The ribs are outstanding. But all the food I have had here is absolutely delicious and presented beautifully
Easy booking got the day we wanted and the time we asked for got there and was seated well away from the next tables nice and relaxing waited a wile for food but was lovely when it came good value for money went back next day would recommend it

A regular at the hop vine, this is one of the best local pubs and eateries around. The food is absolutely superb and it’s a lovely place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and go try it, you will not regret it
