Went to celebrate a co-workers last day. We all highly recommend Island Hideaway! Food is delicious, good atmosphere and great customer service. Will be back soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This one of my favorite restaurants on Solomons Island. The food is always excellent, well presented and hot. Unfortunately, they have not changed their menu in a while and I tend to always get the same one or two entrees. Although this time I tried the Coconut Lemon Chicken and it was delicious. Since COVID they have not offered any entree specials.
The desserts are to die for, fresh-made in-house. Three of us shared the chocolate cake and it did not disappoint.

Sunday brunch. Had a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar by choice. Food was great and service was good. The inside tables and bar cannot capture the amazing waterfront setting that is available here. I always feel cheated when sitting inside on a nice day. Some mirrors at the bar to lighten up the area and reflect the waterfront view would be nice.

Great location, food and service. Parking was a plus!

Our food and service was great! Only issue is the restaurant was cold. We had to eat with our jackets on because the kept opening the door to serve the diners eating outside.

Enjoyed delicious BBQ.Buffalo cauliflower appetizer, Salmon cake sandwich with fries and street corn. Yummy margarita followed by an espresso martini and topped it off with key lime pie. Great service and atmosphere. the waterfront atmosphere was soothing after being cooped up ALL year!

Our favorite spot on the island...the specials never disappoint.

The Irish menu was great....delicious Irish stout onion soup and excellent authentic Bangers and Concannon. The shepherd pie was sold out early, but we picked up some the next day and it was fantastic with stout based gravy and sliced potatoes instead of mashed. The Hideaway never disappoints.

Wonderful ambience and service. Menu was very limited and the food was a bit industrial chain restaurant tasting (heavy sauces, etc.). Given the dockside location I expected more seafood and perhaps something more imaginative than a standard hotel fair.

Great food. Very busy night so the service was very good but not outstanding. The noise level was a little higher than normal as well. It will be much better when the weather warms up and the outside is open.

Great cocktails, super pierogies, and amazing banana/chocolate cream pie are an outstanding trifecta!

An absolutely perfect experience!!!! The oscar style filet mignon was phenomenal. The toasted almond cake is a must!!!!

One of my very favorite restaurants in all of Maryland! Fabulous views, amazing food and great drinks. Somewhat pricey but worth it. I work in the area a lot and travel there often...and always make a trip (even out of the way ) to go there! However we made reservations and this time the hostess sat us in a table away from the windows near the bar (with people and an otherwise empty restaurant. We asked if we could be moved ( after we finally got her attention again) and were quickly and firmly told all those tables were reserved. I pleaded that we really wanted to sit closer up (away from bar) and there were 5 tables empty. And we had reservations too. So she did move us “hesitantly” and it somewhat put a negative on our joy of being there. But all uphill from there. Thankfully. But...By the way...only one group had shown up for one of those tables when we left well over an hour later. Just thought that was interesting and a bit upsetting. Especially for a Monday. Still love that place. Regardless.

Island Hideaway has wonderful foo. The view is excellent during the day. Small place so you should plan for reservations or you may wait.

Enjoyed our dinner with our family. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive to our needs. Made our table a pot of decaf coffee and made sure we always had a full cup to go with our dinner and fantastic dessert. The restaurant was cold but we had our warm coffee and great service. Perfect evening.

Lasagna and cannelloni are delicious! Apple crisp was super yummy!

This is a hidden gem! Food was DELICIOUS and fabulous signature cocktails! Service was awesome!

Service is always great! The food wasn’t the best this visit. MP for cut of the day was $32 for a 5oz steak that tasted like Outback Steakhouse. My date’s chicken was also very dry.

The Island Hideaway is delicious! It’s beautifully located on the water. Calm and collected. The food is delicious and cooked from scratch. The entire staff is dedicated and hospitable!

We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, lobster egg roll, & crab dip for appetizers. All excellent! Dinner orders included stuffed shrimp, crab cake, seafood fettuccine, & cheese raviolis. All excellent. The fries and corn were favorites for side dishes. Desserts were delicious-Heath cake, lemon blueberry, the apple crisp, & the crème brûlée. Our family of four had a lovely evening & our server was super efficient & friendly. We plan to go back as soon as we can. We felt comfortable here even amidst Covid. We could not have asked for a better evening out!

Hostess was on point with organization and service.

The food was very good. I had coconut lemon chicken, my husband seafood alfredo. I feel like the chicken could of used a little kick. The sauce had a great flavor, however the chicken breast had little to no seasoning other than the sauce, being a plain chicken breast a little umph would have made it next level, maybe capers or coconut crisps.
Drinks and dessert outstanding! We will be back.

Both the Staff and the Food was great. Highly recommended for any Tuesday night.

Outstanding white bolognese on homemade fettuccini and delicious tenderloin tips on bleu cheese mashed potatoes. The blackened shrimp on grilled polenta was also superb. The patio tented enclosure with heaters was very comfortable and had enough ventilation for safety. Our go-to fav in Solomons!

Sat indoors which was appropriately spaced. All servers wearing face masks There was seating outdoors. The food was extremely well prepared. The special fettuccine was flavorful and creamy. The crab dip was one of most complex flavored I have ever had. Many places just mix up some cream cheese and old bay

The place is fabulous but it took us about 30 minutes to get use to the EXTREMELY loud noise level. It helped when few folks left.. our server, Rachael (?) was lovely. The Seafood Cannelloni best I have ever enjoyed with THE BEST MARINARA ! Thank you Hideaway. We will be back..
