    A gift from family for our anniversary with reservations made gave us a seat in the small and noisy bar area when the much nicer dining room areas had a good amount of space. A $200 dinner should have been better than this. This was such a distraction, I do not know if we would return or recommend it to others.

    Tina, our server, was outstanding, as was all of the food. We understand that the Log Cabin is known for steaks, but I think the Osso Bucco should be their claim to fame

    Great evening outside with four other old friends. It had been far too long since our last visit. Edwin took great care of us and it was nice to meet Kirk. We will be back soon.

    Anniversary dinner which was nicely recognized by a small vase of flowers and card acknowledgment on the table. Jay was an outstanding server. Prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout our dinner. Food was amazing. We had French onion soup, calamari and the mussels and scallops. Dessert was a small plate chocolate espresso bite and raspberry truffle ice cream from Bassetts. Delicious dinner and highly recommend to anyone. Table location by the window was perfect.

    The service was fantastic from the time we arrived until we left. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for more. The only slight draw back was the live music playing in the other room. It was a bit loud but I think it was due to the person singing which really sounded more like screaming.

    I was very happy with my experience at the Log Cabin and will definitely go back! The food and service was amazing! It was a very intimate setting with very nice extra touches. For example, when I booked online, I specified it was for a birthday. When we were seated, there was a cute little sign that said happy birthday and the server also wished my husband a happy birthday when she initially introduced herself and again before we left.

    When making a reservation, patrons should be told that the larger room may have a higher noise level than anticipated. There was a large noisy table in the room with us which took detracted from the atmosphere we expected from The Log Cabin. At times it made it difficult for the two of us to converse without raising our voices. Perhaps for those seeking a quiet, conversational atmosphere the reservation page should recommend a both or a more private table or a note that the room can be "energetic".

    We had SUCH a marvelous experience celebrating our 15 year anniversary at the Log Cabin last evening. Our server was attentive, appropriately talkative, and helpful. The food was outstanding from start to finish. And the live band (which I generally don't enjoy because it can really kill the vibe if it's not done well) was excellent. We even stayed after our meal was over to listen a little longer. Definitely pricy for our budget, so we can't come often, but well worth what we paid for a special celebration!

    Food: The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I ordered the aged rib eye and my husband ordered the crab cake special. Both were decent, but my steak was tough despite being a perfect medium. My husband said his crab cake was good. My sister in law also had a special, but it was hard to figure out what exactly was in it because... Ambiance: The lighting in the room was very poor. I read other reviews stating the same, but I thought it was overblown. There was too much space between lights and we were unfortunately at a table between lighting, so it was hard to read the menu and truly see the food in front of us. Service: The service was pretty good. The one complaint I would have was our appetizers came out incredibly quickly (literally with the bread), and then we sat for over 30 minutes waiting for our entrees. It was overall a good meal, but it's not really worth it to me to drop $175 on again.

    We were there to celebrate our 60 years of marriage. I had lobster and sticky pudding both were excellent. My husband had scallops with cod cakes that also were great.

    We chose The Log Cabin to celebrate our 25th anniversary because the food is spectacular and the decor is always classy. The wait staff was excellent and We thoroughly enjoyed the meal!

    We had a fantastic dining experience in every aspect. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top shelf. I had the ribeye, and my wife had the lobster tail. We both strongly recommend them. Our server was Edwin. He was so friendly, hardworking, and very efficient. He can write the book on hospitality!

    Excellent restaurant! We had four different entrees and each one was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The server was well trained all in all a 5 star experience. Highly recommend if you are in the Lancaster area.
