The ribs literally melt in your mouth. Best ribs I’ve ever had. Everything was excellent and it was a great atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful and made an excellent recommendation. Can’t complain about anything!

The setting was very nice. Service attentive yet very cold. Nobody seemed interested to make dinner a great experience, just in and out with orders, food delivery, etc...

The food was very hit/miss, shocking for the notoriety of the owners. Caesar salad great, mushroom toast way over salted. My wife’s pasta dish tasted like it wax coated in sweet-sour sauce from an Asian take out, overpowering the dish. My Lovebird chicken was excellent.

Just an overall odd experience. With so many choices, we won’t be back.

loved the restaurant. we were seated at a table at first, horribly uncomfortable chairs and much noisier. switched to a booth , so comfy and much better for noise.
a bit pricey, but plentiful portions which is good.
drinks a bit pricey too...

This was our first time having dinner there. We had been for brunch before. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! It was a little noisy. But I would definitely recommend.

Everything was excellent! But the service was the worst. The server spilled water and said no apology and kept ignoring our table. Disappointing service.

We enjoyed our brunch at The Love! Very good food. Better than the food though was our service. I don't remember our server's name but he was great! Good suggestions and seemingly a lovely person. Decor is dynamite!

Went for brunch. Fried green tomatoes appetizer were amazing. Chicken and waffles were a little off (chicken was too overcooked for my liking). Great service and ambiance. Definitely would come back.

enjoyed our meal very much. The dining room was nice, not overly crowded when we arrived and we were tucked into a tiny table which worked ok, but I felt like I was constantly being cleaned up around because there was no place to put anything on the table. they scooped up my champagne glass the minute I was finished. also the chairs, which were wicker, were very uncomfortable and extremely creaky. I felt like everyone looked at me every time I moved. I wanted to linger during my brunch experience but wasn't comfortable.

The restaurant is beautiful. The server was nice, he forgot our drinks but took them off our bill. The food was okay. We went there for brunch. For the price and being a Steven Star restaurant I wasn’t that impressed. Appetizers were much better than the main course and the portions were large.

Another great experience at The Love! It’s a must when in Philly, whether you’re going for brunch or dinner. Their menu is delightful - something for everybody. I’m a vegetarian and am seriously in love with the black kale risotto. Carrot soup & cheeseboard are also great! Love the veggie selection at the bottom. My boyfriend has tried several dishes and has said they’ve been fantastic every time. It’s definitely one of our favorite places. Had a lovely brunch outside last weekend. Thanks for everything!

Really great service. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Gave us a free birthday dessert!
Drinks were delicious. Summer drink with Vermouth and Aperol Spritz were to die for!
Best shrimp and grits I've ever had! Definitely going to be stopping in again.

Between the fabulous food and the impeccable service, it's hard not to gush about The Love. All of the rave reviews are true -- servers pay close attention to what you need without rushing you and the food hits all the right flavors. We went for brunch and weren't disappointed in the least. Already planning our next trip back!

We enjoyed our Valentine’s Day brunch so much, we headed back when we were in the city yesterday. Everything was spectacular! Cinnamon scones made my 6 year old swoon. The lox board was fresh. The turkey melt with the homemade English muffin could not have been better! The lemon poppy pancakes with sour cherry sauce were some of the best pancakes I’ve tasted. Can’t wait to return!

Food Was Amazing!!!! I loved how quick it came out everyone was lovely, i just didnt like our server she kept doing things without permission like splitting food up i bought with the rest of the table and then put food on a receipt one of my friends ordered to make it even when she shouldn't of did that cause some people only came with a certain amount of money! But overall the place was lovely! definitely coming back!

We loved our food experience at The Love. There is nothing that we would change. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The woman who took us to our table was very polite and had a welcoming smile. Service was fast, hot and perfect. Our only suggestion is when you first walk in the door there has to be more organization. The hostess was overwhelmed with people rushing them. It was our first time at The Love and our first impression was of a man pushing us to the side, to jump the line and place his name before us, after waiting. Not the best 1st impression, but the food made up for it.

Overall, we enjoyed The Love. The scallops were the best part of the meal. We also ordered the buttermilk fried chicken but found the sides (polenta and collard greens) to be much better than the actual chicken, which was a little dry. The atmosphere was nice for a date night, and the service was great.

The location is convenient and lovely. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. Items listed on the menu were not all that they would seem, given the descriptions. Do give it a try, with an open mind. The not really, but great “Parker House Rolls” are a winner.

The fried chicken was a total winner, with perfectly cooked grits and collards. The ribs were also a winner. The hot and sour halibut was filled with flavor, but a very small portion for the cost. Skip the scallops entirely, unless you can get it in a small plate. The scallops themselves were delicious, but the rest of the plate was lacking.
