I brought my boyfriend to try this place out for the first time since the name changeover and we were not disappointed. We started with the Charcuterie and Cheese Baird that was overflowing and paired with fantastic jams. Their soup of the day was a potato concoction from heaven, and my steak and boyfriend Pickerel was flavourful, perfectly cooked, and filling. The wine list was a tad sparser than what I am used to dining in Toronto, but the wines available had a great range and were very well priced. We weren't able to dry out dessert as we were completely full. They had a great solo artist playing covers all evening and he was spot on. The atmosphere was fun, simple, and very romantic.
