Very disappointing this year. Lack of intimacy in dining, more like a large dining hall. Music was too loud to have family conversation. The food was the most disappointing.

I’m a huge fan of this brunch! I have been coming here for Christmas Brunch since I was a kid. It’s been 2 years since I’ve been here but I guess since the hotel changed from the Four Seasons to the Ritz, service and value are not a priority. I was truly UNDERWHELMED by this Brunch Buffet it’s nothing like it used to be and you are better off going to one of our finer Steakhouses we have in the metroplex and paying over $200 a person. The Ritz charged $175 plus an automatic $91 tip. Which was way too much for what this was and the service for only 2 people should not have been automatically charged $91 for a tip. We never got waited on by one person. We had to go find someone to get drinks and silverware. I would not recommend this Brunch Buffet for the price that was charged.

The wreath making and tasty tea sandwich bites (and the champagne!) were so good and fun. Great way to gather with friends to celebrate the holidays.

Excellent service from the front desk to the host and wait staff. This will be an experience my family will treasure forever. The food presentation was stunning and very delicious. The ambiance of the ballroom was very inviting and the music was perfect. We might just make this an annual Mother's Day tradition.

A Fresh Take on Afternoon Tea at the Ritz Afternoon tea at the Ritz offers an unexpectedly delightful culinary experience—one that surprised me in the best way. The quality and freshness of the food were truly outstanding, arguably surpassing another well-known downtown Dallas spot that’s also known for its elegant tea service. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, seasonal, and beautifully presented. While the ambiance at the Ritz is lovely, what could elevate the experience to a true five-star event would be a touch more intimacy in the setting and an extra layer of attentiveness from the staff. The service was gracious, but with a bit more polish and personalization, it would match the exceptional standard set by the food. If you’re looking for an elevated tea service with standout bites and a modern, fresh take on tradition, the Ritz is absolutely worth a visit—and perhaps soon, with just a few enhancements, it may become the gold standard for afternoon tea in Dallas.

2025 Easter brunch at the ritz-carlton las colinas. this was our second year going and it was definitely a let down compared to last year. there was no theme, no pomp, no circumstance and just not much celebration appeared to be happening. decorations were abysmal. the food stations were very much scaled back compared to the year before. it just did not live up to the event that we expected after going last year. im not sure what happened but i could kind of tell the staff had changed from the year before and the event was not the same. the whole family was disappointed. the picture station with the easter bunny was cute with a green screen that printed out the photos immediately. but last year there was just more of a lively event. the kids food station was not good-- french fries were cold, not appetizing at all. we had a large group this year and we mostly feel like it was not worth the price becauase the 2024 brunch set a very high expectations. we even had a group go for mother's day in 2024 after easter and they had an equally great time. i think the staff has changed since then and that was palpable throughout the whole event. unfortunate.
