    We dined there just before going to the theatre to see Guys & Dolls. It was a very good experience with a good selection of Tapas and other dishes. Guinness on tap and a wide selection of drinks. If you prefer to be seated it is best to book early. Will go back there again soon.

    Always love the vibe at Rusty Nail, with unique foods, drinks and flavours. It would be nice however to have a response if prerequests are not available. Unfortunately it seems harder and harder to mobilise in this venue and when trying to find somewhere to have a conversation, inside is not the place to be (unless downstairs) or outside. Hopefully this was only due to capacity and not an ongoing theme. It would be great to be reminded when things aren’t available on the hard copy menu either to minimise disappointment when ordering. Otherwise it’s still a favourite to take friends and family.

    Great spot for a date night with loads of cocktail choices and great tapas to share Only minor thing the sauce that accompanied the croquettes was super spicy we thought a creamy condiment would have gone better with them and the potatoe inside was undercooked But otherwise we enjoyed our date night out at the Rusty Nail

    The French Wine Tasting afternoon was absolutely fantastic. Very informative and a relaxing afternoon enjoyed with my husband. We learnt about 4 different wines from France with each wine being expertly chosen. We are very much looking forward to the next tasting event!

    Was very much looking forward to trying The Rusty Nail but was unfortunately very disappointed. Booked a table but was told to sit outside. Food was not very nice and drinks were overpriced.

    We had a couple of drinks before realising I stupidly forgot to press the payment confirmation for food. So after a good while just thinking it was a normal wait we asked out waiter. The chef was amazing getting food to us in 5 mins after the mistake was rectified. Everything was yum. Most of it was GF which was an absolute bonus.

    We were looking for dinner before the show at the Ipswich Civic Centre and The Rusty Nail fitted the bill perfectly! Good food, good service and a short walk to the show.
