    Lovely place easy to get to from motorway. Had the sharing board for 2. Food was lovely and the service was great. Would definitely visit again :)

    We arrived to a warm welcome and were shown to a table (even though we had booked 17 00hrs and it was 19 000 the food was excellent and the room was nice warm. i will be going back again. many thanks from L A B

    Very nice, efficient and friendly service. Food was delicious. Sunday roasts excellent. Nice interior and lovely outdoors area.

    Really good meal. Very impressed with the service, particularly given how busy it was. Would definitely return. Ideally not at such a busy time, but really no complaints at all.

    Delicious Sunday lunch. Highly recommend. The service was a little slow but weren't in a hurry so didn't mind. The chef wouldn't really sway from his menu to accommodate children requests. Pet friendly bar area.

    Very disappointed booked for birthday meal, relatively long wait starter, then had to send prawn cocktail back as funny taste on sauce. Son ordered the last waghu burger and arrive with a quarter out of it missing, complained and brought back saying chef said that’s how they are, we have regularly on barbecues that’s not how they are. Left at that stage. Very disappointing birthday meal

    Our visit was for Mother’s Day. The restaurant was extremely busy but had a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was just ok. It was warm not hot, the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were hard and the whole feel of the meal was it had been plated up for sometime and given to the next person that ordered a roast. Until now we’ve never been disappointed with the Stretton Fox, it’s one of our favourite places to eat, but we will put this down as a bit of a blip and hope for better next time, maybe when it’s not a big calendar event.
